In town for work I am staying next door to this restaurant and went In for some dinner and holy hell. The salsa you get is like a punch in the face spicy but man it’s so good.

Then there is the food. My god, the burrito was absolutely fantastic, went back last night and had the other burrito it was okay but not as good as the other one (lots of onions and well I hate onions)

The only down side was the service was crazy slow on the 2ed visit here but the first and 3ed were amazing.

My server the first and third night was Alfredo, he was fantastic. Over all 5 stars but the service could be better. But don’t let slow service stop you from going here. The food is top notch.

UPDATE. Was in town for a week and ate here 5 days in a row. Yes it is that good. Alfredo was my server for most of the visits. He was fantastic, even gave him some Canadian Chocolate for his wife and kids. I wish there was Mexican food like this near me.

Wow, exceptional service! Jose at El Torito went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. His friendly demeanor, attentive service, and expert bartending skills made our visit truly special. Jose is a true asset to the team! Highly recommend stopping by and asking for him.

This Mexican restaurant is amazing. Very authentic. Flavours are on point. Happy Hour was great! Highly recommend. Our waiter was the best. He made the experience even better.

Our experience at Torito Cypress was very positive, the food was delicious and the service was very good, especially Miss Daisy, she is great. Our son enjoyed his stay by preparing our portion of guacamole… awesome!!!

The drink menu here is fantastic! Started with the Margarita flight, and i thought the mango one would be my favorite. But, they have another one, the Watermelon candy shot, that was ultimately the winner. Went with the shrimp burritos for food, which were really good. The mexican caesar salad was a whole new spin for me (i dont think we have that in North Carolina). My bartender, Jose, was always on top of things, making sure i was happy. Awesome place all around! (And yes, took a sip of the margarita, THEN realized i should get a picture. Whoops!)

I just don’t think Mexican food is supposed to be THAT spicy that it completely overpowers every taste in your dish. I had the shrimp enchiladas and they were delicious but my family’s dishes (even though they said no spice) they added spice and it was uneatable. I love spicy food but I’m not paying to basically taste a freaking habanero for dinner.

Surprisingly good food. The Carnitas is top notch. The Chicken and Sour cream enchiladas are made with plump pieces of roasted chicken. Had not been to this location in years. The management staff is very good and responsive. Definitely will go again.

I came out to Cypress for some business and meetings it was time for dinner I noticed El torito what was at the corner stopped in had a few drinks and an amazing plate Mazatlan shrimp enchiladas absolutely delicious The rice and everything on the plate was phenomenal, The service was great.
