This is the worst gas company anybody could ever work with. Extremely disgusted and disappointed with their awful level of customer service. They schedule appointments weeks out, confirm them several times in writing and via text, and then don’t show up at all. No accountability no nothing— and caused me to lose money with my rental units. Totally unreliable. Left this company and would encourage you all to try some others.

Well, we can forget 8yrs ago! When I try to call for propane, I'm met with someone I can hardly understand. If I just have a simple question, like, how much is propane a gallon, it takes forever to get an answer. Person on the phone states that she has to get into my file, or something, to give me an answer. If you MUST have a call center, get people to speak English--well!

Awful company! We have asked them to pick up the tank for 2 years and they haven't picked it up and keep billing us. Don't use this company. No integrity and takes advantage of people!
Called and had an appointment for gas retraction and tank pick up. Won't credit you for the gas they are retrieving and wants to charge you to take the gas. Didn't show up on the appointment date or the day after. I have called many times and asked for a supervisor. They say they will send a message to the district manager, still no call and still no one has come to remove the tank. Today, received a bill for the tank rental. We switched companies 2 years ago and can't get then to pick up the tank. The worst customer service.

This is worst company I haven’t EVER dealt with.
Placed an order on Jan 12.
Jan. 13 credit card was charged but no delivery date was scheduled.
Called on 14th explained credit card was already charged and we received no confirmation date for gas delivery. Customer service said it takes 10-14 day for delivery, and or delivery date is Jan. 20.
I take day off work to meet driver as our tank is behind gates. No call no show on 20th. My wife called and they said “we were never on schedule and that we were still within the 10-14 day period so I don’t know why your complaining”? However we will be there no later the Friday 22. Take another day off to meet driver and again no call no show. Called to find out what the issue was and again we were told we were not on schedule. After 3 1/2 hours of dealing with this company on phone, I asked if I’m obligated to buy gas from them or can I find my own vender. They said only Amerigas can fill that tank! 10 min later my wife receives email saying our order is now cancelled. Just like every other big company, they can care less about the customer. What a joke!!!

Our saga began AFTER about 12 years of good service and no complaints. We had supplied a key to the gate so fuel could be delivered at will. On Jan. 2, 2016 with temps in the 20's we discovered that our tank was empty. (We never checked it because they would stop periodically to fill it, we'd send the check and all was well.) I called, they came out, dropped 212 gallons and sent me a bill for $684.30 which I promptly paid, but did complain. I didn't think there was any excuse since they had keys. In all of 2016, they delivered only 1 more time, dropping 79 gallons in May.

I called on December 23, telling them I was down to 12%. Was told they'd deliver as soon as they could. Called again on 12/30, down to 4%, still no delivery. I contacted another company to set up an account and ran out of fuel the day the new tank was delivered, which was exactly 1 year to the day from the last time.
I called to tell Proflame to pick up their tank, she offered to lower the price but I wasn't buying it. I was told it would take 45 days, told her I didn't care, tank rental was paid until May. Today marks 49 days.

If you're into high prices and lousy service Proflame is your company. I'm forced to give 1 Star, it should be minus 5.

This place is a horrible business to deal with. My bill has been PAID IN FULL for over 6 months and hey continue to send collection agencies. I have spent hours on the phone with exactly no one listening trying to solve this issue. I have talked to corporate and thought I solved things. They will gouge you on the bill. They threatened to put a lock on my tank during Christmas and my bill was PAID IN FULL.
You don’t get a 2.9 review with only one bad review. Do yourself a favor and go to one of the local providers. A mom and pop place will appreciate you and the business. AMERIGAS OS GARBAGE.

I no longer use propane at all. I am however storing a 100 gallon propane tank next to my home where I had hoped to plant trees this past spring. The tank belongs to AmeriGas Propane. I requested in February that the empty tank be removed. I was told there would be a charge of $65.00 to pick up a tank I had paid rental fees on for 40 years. I did pay the $65.00 in February. The tank is still sitting in my yard. I have called numerous times and set up appointments for pick up. No one comes to get the tank and no one calls to reschedule. I'm at a loss as to what to do to get this old tank off my property. Badly run company. Only contact their customers to get money. No service.
