TERRIBLE DO NOT BUY - MY ROOF IS BLOWING OFF AS WE SPEAK - HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE - IN FACT, THERE IS NO COSTOMER SERVICE.

I purchased a Creekside Manor home in 2023 from Redman Homes. It was installed in Reno Nevada. Upon delivery, the shingles were lifting off around the whole perimeter of my home. The flashing was sloppy and overlapping without being nailed down. In short: The roof WAS A MESS.

I reported this to Redman who denied any problems with their installation of the roof. I hired an inspector to review the roof and they confirmed the roof DID NOT have a STARTER ROW and documented several places where shingles were lifting. Within weeks shingles were blowing off. I requested that Redman reimburse me to put a new roof on the home before winter because the roof would not hold up. "They were putting my NEW home in peril' To the reader: Please see photos of the roof upon delivery and tell me if it looks installed correctly.

Redman finally sent a crew out to do repairs but they did a terrible job nailing the shingles down and patching it. (see phots). Reminder - this was a new home that I paid with my hard earned money. I paid extra to meet the codes for Washoe County's high wind factor. This should NOT have been happening. But the story only gets worse.

More shingles blew off over the following months. Finally, Redman sent a professional roofing crew. They installed a new layer of shingles over the south end side using fire and Ice underlayment. (See photos) Jack Valdez stands by his work and did a great job however this only fixed part of the roof.
Redman refused to put a new roof on the home. It only gets worse.

The most recent issue took place this January 2025. More shingles blew off. (see photos) Redman tells me to file a claim with IKO roofing because it may be the shingle malfunction. While I am preparing to file a claim for defect, I loose 20 shingles in a day!!!
I call Redman. They tell me that they will do NOTHING until the shingles are inspected by IKO.
I am currently hiring a emergency roofing crew by a licensed roofing contractor in Reno to patch what they can to protect the home.
My question is this:
If Redman suspected the shingles why didn't they say something ONE and A HALF YEARS ago? why did they install a roof that was visibly non sticking down?
Why didn't Redman agree the install of the roof was not done to code?
Finally, Redman Homes is the worst company to do business with. They have no customer service. The realtor I used, Dwight Gilbert, a nice man but ineffective. He did nothing to help me mediate and resolve this issue. I was left on my own to fend for my new home that I was so proud and happy to install and has now become a monkey on my back. I will not do business with Redman and encourage you all to go look elsewhere for a home. DO NOT BUY FROM REDMAN.

Met up with Alex and his team and gave me a tour of the facility. I was there for business, but was amazed at the production and quality of the home building process while visiting. Alex was very knowledgeable and pointed out in detail products they use to stand out amongst their competitors. I had just put my bare land back on the market for sell……but now I’m seriously considering doing business with the team. Stop by and see for yourself, you’ll be amazed at the building process and quality of workmanship.

I was referred to Champion Home Builders because they were in major need of production workers, at which I excel. When I handed in my resume I was treated as if I had been caught trying to burn the place down. I returned one week later and received the same treatment, by the same supervisor. Guess my skills and outstanding work ethic were not up to the standard of this company! This company's loss, not mine.

Manufactured Homes are ubiquitous in today's everyday business and living situations. These are some examples of the attentive hard working team at Redman/Champion homes builders have accomplished. I really like the grit and teamwork that the employees have when they built these. The homes look just like the pictures when they leave this plant and due to transportation difficulties homes will shift sometimes. I can not speak on their behalf but I can for champion and they will address and replace any thing that has to do with the homes manufacturer. They do not repair or fix anything, if it is ours and broke we replace it brand new just as the customer has purchased. Very Pleased, and cheers to the whole team at Champion for their great efforts.

Giving one star is being generous.
When a family decides to purchase a home it should be an exciting time but Redman homes took that excitement away.

The home was delivered in 3 pieces and the third piece was built longer than the first two. A Redman team came out and pointed fingers to the installer, however months later, Redman has yet to rectify the situation along with others.
Master bedroom leaked from recent rains, marriage lines do not match on ceiling and floors, wires inside fire place to vent the heat are exposed, cabinets in kitchen are coming apart, all doors are are not lined up including French doors. Walls around closet doors were cut wrong, you can feel lumps under the vinyl flooring, light switches and outlets placed incorrectly. The list can go on.

The way a company handles errors will depend if I would use their services again and the way Redman has handled all of the above is a huge "no way, not ever again"

We have made numerous complaints to several associates at Redman but our complaints is just wasted breath. They promise to resolve the issues but nothing has been done but maybe that's because they got paid and we are left with a crappy home.

Stay away from this company. It's not worth the stress and sleepless nights and then waking up to start the same fight all over again. It's been and continues to be a night mare.

Never go near this company around 6:50-7am that’s when all the “late” workers drive I witness a red lifted pick up almost cause a semi to crash cuz he was impatient and oak ave is super narrow. Tell your workers to go early and to stop speeding and causing near accident and it’s worse when they are let out around 3:30-3:40pm on Tulare road where u merge at the stop sign to the 65 they will get off the road into someone’s yard and just drive in and cause a near accident again I get it u want to go home but if traffic is coming maybe wait your turn

Terrible...Spent a $164,000 on a house with constant problems... The windows leak water when it rains, and I'm not talking about a slow trickle of water... It constantly pours into our living room. The water is leaking through the window sills bubbling the paint inside of our house. The water is leaking down the walls getting on our furniture and ruining our carpet, and to make matters worse, there is an electrical socket under each window creating a tremendous fire hazard. We had to tape over each light socket for our own safety. We have 3 little girls and the water is leaking through the windows in All 3 of their bedrooms so bad we had to go outside in the freezing cold pouring rain and nail up a tarp just to cover the windows because apparently Redman Homes is going to be closed for the next 4 days even though we have a storm forecast of rain for the next 4 days!!! We already called them once before about this same problem and they sent out a local contractor who knows nothing about the house, how it's built, or anything else about it and he put a silicone sealant on the outside of all of the windows. At first it seemed to work, then the next big rain we had.... Boom! Rain pouring in through all the windows, even through new windows that were never even leaking before. The vent in our children's bathroom is now pouring in rain from outside like a water fall. The shingles on our roof keep ripping off every time there's a gust of wind, the contractor had to tack all those down because he said they used glue on them and cut corners because they were lazy. We have water spots on the ceiling in our house. The flooring they installed in the kitchen is bubbling up, when we told them about it they told us this was probably just due to the summer heat or the moisture from the winter and they would need to send someone else out to deal with that issue... Still Waiting!!! We have cracking around each of the window sills in our house and cracking on our ceiling inside or house... They informed us that this was just due to the house settling and that there was nothing they could do about it because when the house left their factory there were no cracks. We also had to hire our own carpet installer because ours did not show up and then when we called to see what had happened they told us that he refused to come out and install our carpet because we lived too far away... Very professional. If I were you I would avoid this place like The Plague. They probably got their contractor's license out of a Cracker Jack box.
