The Table catered my wedding and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made! From the very beginning Chef Peter and Nicole's love of food, love for their craft, and their professionalism shone through. My fiance and I did tastings with three over caterers but no one came close to The Table. Their menu is creative, healthy, and one of a kind.

The day of the wedding there was more than enough food to go around. All our guest raved about dinner, and every member of the catering staff was prompt, efficient, and a pleasure to work with.

I'd enthusiastically recommend The Table catering to anyone.

We had The Table cater our wedding last month, and they handled everything: dinner, cocktail hour, late-night bites, and event staffing. Simply put, they were phenomenal.

Our dinner featured spinach salad with berries, house-made bread, lemongrass chicken over risotto, short ribs in wine reduction over polenta, summer squash, and melon. Nicole, one of the owners, personally made sure we were fed, checking in with us multiple times throughout the night. I never thought I’d be raving about melon at my wedding, but here we are! And as for the short ribs—juicy, tender, and bursting with flavor—I can practically still taste them as I write this. The cocktail hour grazing boards were just as spectacular. Their focus on fresh, local ingredients really stood out in every bite. For such high quality, their pricing was incredibly fair.

Our reception was at Children’s Fairyland in Oakland, a sprawling park with no traditional kitchen spaces. We had food and drinks set up in three different areas of the park, each timed perfectly. The Table coordinated everything seamlessly—from set-up to tear-down—making sure we stayed on schedule, which is impressive given the logistics of the venue. Every detail was handled without a hitch.

Nicole, Peter, and their entire team were incredible. They left such an impression that my dad is joining their meal delivery service, and I even had friends text me the next day about how much they loved the atmosphere created by Chef Peter and Nicole. Our guests even tipped the bartenders, unprompted, because of the amazing service. As a thoughtful gesture, Nicole signed our guest book and left a small gift for us the night of the wedding, which we discovered when we got back from our honeymoon. It was such a personal touch!

Nicole was hands-on throughout the planning process, meeting with me many times and ensuring every detail was taken care of. Thanks to her and the team, I was able to relax and fully enjoy my day.

In short, if you’re having an event, especially at Fairyland, hire The Table as soon as possible!

Absolutely amazing service. This is the 3rd year they have catered for the Oakland Museum of California. Delicious food, great service, and they packed out all plates and utensils. They are local folks, doing good. Cheers to chef Peter and Nicole. We will definately be calling you for our next event. Thank you so much.

The Table catered my company's picnic this weekend, and it was a hit! I work at a small business, and we have an annual picnic in Tilden for staff and their families. I wanted an easy way to make sure that we had delicious, healthy food.

We ordered chicken, pulled pork, and tofu sandwiches, as well as a big sweet potato salad, kale Caesar salad, and peach fruit salad. The ordering process was super easy. I arranged a pickup with Chef Peter, but they also had direct delivery as an option.

We are so lucky to live in a place with such incredible produce, and Chef Peter takes it to the next level by making each ingredient shine. The reusable serving utensils and labels were and elevated and tasteful touch.

Their commitment to using locally sourced ingredients truly sets them apart. The Stuffed Mushrooms and the Curried Chicken Gougers were not only fresh and flavorful but also beautifully presented. So incredibly tasty! They are professional, attentive, and clearly passionate about their craft. The Table catered our wedding and we are so grateful we went with them. They are a joy to work with (and the food tastes like heaven!) The entire process from the very first email to the end of the wedding was incredibly smooth and just delightful. Beforehand Nicole did an incredible job preparing for the wedding, getting us all the information and the perfect quote, and even went above and beyond like advising us on recommended quantities and giving us general guidance. During the event The Table's team knew exactly what to do and where to be and was instrumental in helping us have a great wedding. The setup was flawless. Chef Peter's cooking is out of this world; once you've tried it once, you'll be dreaming of more forever! The food is delicious, ethically sourced, and beautiful. On top of all that, The Table's team was also incredibly helpful in making sure all allergies are accommodated and even that all other vendors are all set. Run, don't walk, to book them as your caterer!!!

The Table Catering catered a luncheon birthday party for us with about 65 guests. The food was absolutely incredible, and beautifully displayed. The chicken ratatouille was one of the most delicious dishes I have even eaten, no exaggeration! The kale/chickpea and broccoli pesto salads were perfectly made, flavorful, and so good. They even made plain pasta and chicken for the kids, and added a side of polenta as a bonus. They were helpful and professional, took photos during the event, and even helped us slice up the huge birthday cake we brought ourselves. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

We order The Table Catering once a week for a family meal to help us survive having two small kids and two demanding jobs. The food is so excellent like incredibly good and delicious and healthy. We also ordered catering for Thanksgiving and it was amazing, feeding two entire families with a lot to spare at a reasonable cost. Get some!!
