We had a WONDERFUL experience at Pet Food Express! We got a puppy several weeks ago and Bridget helped us get everything we needed. She took extra time educating us on the equipment and food we needed. Knowing we were first time puppy parents she went well beyond an “employee role “ offering support , encouragement and helpful feedback. We appreciate the professionalism she displayed. What a lovely Pet store! There's so many unique and new pet foods at this place that you don't see at the big chain stores. They have some sweet cats to be adopted as well. Too many good things in this store to list here, but I would go here before the big chains from now on. They have a large room to bathe your pets as well.

A real love of animals opens your heart to the plight of abandoned and mistreated pets, a situation that, unfortunately, has become worse after the pandemic.
This Pet Food Express location is actively working to help rehome abandoned cats and the adoptable ferals that have resulted from domestic kitties being left on the streets.
Working with Solano County Friends of Animals, Pet Food Express in Benicia holds cat adoption events every weekend, Saturday and Sunday 11-3pm.
These precious animals have all been carefully and lovingly screened, vaccinated, fixed, and treated medically for any maladies, by dedicated foster parents and a whole team of volunteers through SCFOA.
Pet Food Express has an allocated space at the front of the store where potential adoptive people can meet the individually unique special companions. And of course, if you decide to expand your family, the store has a wide selection of supplies to make your new addition comfy at home.

Pet Express is a happy place. It's one of my dogs favotite places to go. Kayla goes up to the cashier as soon as she can to get a treat. They are always friendly.

Always a great spot and prices are reasonable. The out of stocks and
low stocks on the website for the store are kept pretty accurate. Lots of variety. One of the best big chain pet stores in the area.
