They rip customers off.

I mailed 3 envelopes that weighed just under 8 oz each. The clerk sold me 24 forever stamps for $16.80. (Or 70 cents per stamp, with 8 stamps on each envelope, for $5.60 per envelope).

I thought the price was high, and when I got home, I checked the post office's website. The price for 1st class mail for large envelopes weighing under 8 oz is $3.07. The total cost should have been $9.21, not $15.60. I went back and saw that they did in fact put 8 forever stamps on the envelope.

I confronted the clerk and the owner. The clerk said they just sold me forever stamps and that was the correct number. He had no response to the printout from the post office showing this was wrong. The owner said that they don't have $3.07 stamps. I am shocked that a mailing center does not have stamps in various denominations. (Three $1 stamps, a five-cent stamp, and 2 one-cent stamps would have done it.) But even so, I asked him why he didn't just put on FIVE forever stamps. (Forever stamps are currently 68 cents each, and that would be a total of $3.40, well above the $3.07 price.) He said I could go to the post office if I wanted that.

Bottom line: they are buying forever stamps at 68 cents (or perhaps less), selling them at 70 cents, and putting on more stamps than are needed. They made at least 48 cents on this transaction (24 stamps x 2 cents each). Even if they did not have the correct postage -- itself a problem -- they should have made at most 30 cents (15 stamps x 2 cents each). To gain the extra 18 cents, they were willing to add more stamps than was necessary and cost me $6.39 more than what I should have paid. The owner won't admit he is doing this and presumably won't stop. If they are willing to impose large costs on customers so that they could make a small additional profit, they are fundamentally dishonest. I would never use this shop again.

Always no nonsense service. There can be a line at peak time but they move through the line and keep a good pace. Employees are willing to help out and answer questions with accurate info.
I live a 5 min walk away and use this place all the time for every package I send out.

I can't say enough good things about my experience at this Post Office. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and a willingness to help. The employees here are knowledgeable, and patient, and take the time to ensure that every customer's needs are met. It's refreshing to see a Post Office that truly values customer service.

This is the first and last time I’ll be using this place. The guy here was rude on the phone and lazy in person. He didn’t even get up from sitting in the back when my husband was trying to ask him a question. He just said leave the package there on the counter. Why provide a service to the community if you’re annoyed by people coming in. Then to make matters worse, the package got lost. I had to file a claim.

The owner is completely unprofessional, with a serious attitude problem. He should not be a part of our community, or working in any public place.

I've seen him raise his voice at people before, and even making inappropriate comments about customers once they leave the store. He has no respect for our business, and it seems like he doesn't care about bad reviews online either... at least I'll join in and share my experience:

I avoid this place as much as possible, but it's the closest USPS location to my home, so I have to stop there on rare occasions. Last week I sent a small envelope internationally. He told me multiple times that I need to be very detailed about the content description. I clearly repeated myself that it's a rubber kids toy.
A week later I get the envelope back because the description wasn't detailed enough, and only then I saw that he labeled it as "TOY"... Very upsetting already. I knew exactly what his response will be, but I had to try, so I took it back to him today and asked why he only typed a single word if he knows the procedure so well, and how come he didn't type it the way I described exactly, which was more detailed. Of course he wouldn't take any responsibility. He said I wasn't detailed enough as he told me to be, and that it needed more information, but he didn't type the full information I gave him! Almost like he did it on purpose... After some back and forth he said I can add it on the label by hand and it will probably be sent back again. I asked if he can print a new label with the full description as I told him in the first place. He said I will have to pay for that again. At this point, if I should pay again I'd rather just go someplace else and not give him anymore of my money. Not a penny more. I'm so done with him.

Ended up walking 2 miles to the post office on Magnolia where it was resent.

Just read the signs everywhere. The owner (?) seems like an unhappy man with signs with Wait here!!!! Cash and check only!!!! Packing tape $0.50!!!! I only needed a small piece of tape and it was still going to be charged. Way to lose a new customer coming in for the first time. The assistant was really friendly though.

Just left this place, and unfortunately I will NOT be coming back. The guy working the counter was rude and unprofessional. I was mailing something EXTREMELY fragile, so I may have over-packaged it. No big deal. After being rude to the customer before me, he informed me that my package was in the wrong type of envelope. That's fine. He then walked away, so I asked if he sold the right envelope. He said yes, then asked me to take what I was shipping out of the envelope. When he saw how I had packed it he chuckled and gave a little smirk like obviously thought what I did was funny. I work in a company with the highest customer service ratings in the country, so I know customer service, and this wasn't it. Will spend my money elsewhere.

I have been coming here for over10 years. The Staff is professional and friendly. Several times i miss placed my Fob and the owner replaced it without any hassle (free). I will continue to conduct my business here.
