I dropped by this barbecue joint craving some smoky goodness, and it hit the spot. The tri-tip was tender and full of flavor, and the garlic rolls were a delightful surprise. The atmosphere was cozy, with a casual vibe that made it easy to relax. Service was prompt and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. However, the menu is heavily meat-focused, so options for non-meat eaters are limited. Despite that, the quality of the food and the welcoming environment make it a place I'd visit again

I ordered the combination plate, got pulled pork and boneless BBQ chicken breast. Got BBQ baked beans and the Mac n Cheese. All of it was fantastic. The pulled pork was sublime, the BBQ sauce on the chicken was a little sweet with a small kick to it. The Mac n cheese did not have that oily taste to it like most restaurants do and it was perfect. The BBQ baked beans were a little sweet but quite good. If you are a fan of BBQ, I would 100% recommend this spot.

I was pleasantly disappointed by this place. The food wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good either. It was obviously hand made and fresh, and not just a factor meal. The bread buns they gave us were very doughy, I didn’t really have a problem with that but there was zero flavor to them. The bbq potatoes were okay, the potato was under seasoned and bland, it was carried hard by the chicken it came with. I was not a fan of the Mac and cheese, very cheesy with small macaroni noodles but again just bland and missing something. I got the Santa Fe chicken sandwich, which wasn’t bad. I was shocked by how well cooked the chicken was, not dry or anything. The bread got soggy fast. I don’t know what I expected there, I should’ve just gotten the pulled pork sandwich instead. Yknow gotten bbq at the place that is known for bbq. But I’m not willing to try again. Service was great tho, whole place (bathrooms included) was clean, booth seats were nice and the cushions weren’t all messed up. 80 with tip for 2 people with 1 entree.

I enjoyed this place! Its hard to find good bbq outside central states this is my new place i must go when im out here
-Food portions were good- i wish mac and cheese portions were bigger everything else on my plates was + sized ( only complaint i can think of)
-Waitress/staff were great waitress was on top of everything i forgot to ask for ranch passing by waitress said ill get it no attitude she grabbed it with a smile must be a non hostile work environment…hard to find
Food came out fairly quickly and freshly hot
Prices are really good when you consider taste and portions
I will be recommending this place to everyone i know!

Rattler’s is an easy going BBQ spot. I have gone many times and like always the rolls are amazing and the meat is tender. The only main issue is the time to seating and time for food to get out sometimes. It’s great but usually very busy - particularly on weekends. There are no reservations and it is always first come first serve which sometimes can be of benefit and sometimes can be a disaster. They can accommodate groups but it may take a while and if busy quite a while. Overall good food and good service but typically very busy.

I was recommended this place by a few friends from a Facebook posts asking what are some good places in Santa Clarita. This one had the most votes so I decided to go on date night with my husband. The hostess and our waiter were amazing. Very pleasant to talk to and our waiter was so attentive. The food on the other hand was not the best I’ve ever had. The ribs were a little dry, the mac and cheese were not cheesy enough for me and coleslaw lacked flavor, but my husband did enjoy the mac and cheese. The veggies served with my dish very tasty and interesting because I’ve never seen green scallions served with ribs before. Other than that, the atmosphere and restaurant was very nice. Might come back to give it another shot.
