Neat little pizza spot in what we considered the middle of nowhere! Although it wasn't busy when we went, I'm sure this place gets lots of local and traveling business which is why we gave it a try! It's located right next door to a tack store that has tack for days, so if you're in the area be sure to check both places out!

We were traveling on the 14 and the hubby remembered seeing this place in passing. So we called and ordered, jumped off the freeway to pickup. It was the cutest find. The young woman that waited on me was very nice. The one on the phone never acknowledged me but it was cool. The pizza was so good and cheesy. We just wanted travel food on our way to our mini vacay! Great job, hot, crunchy crust, cheesy and just PERFECT!

Fried ravioli seem to be stuffed with jalapeños and cream cheese They don't note that on the menu, I assumed it was a cheese or meat ravioli, like at every other pizza place ever. If I wanted jalapeño poppers, I would have ordered those. Pizza has salami on it which I did not order, and actually hate the taste of. Cost me $70 to then have to go find food elsewhere. Just so disappointed after traveling all day, I want to cry.

So to be honest I haven’t been here for years. Literally decades. As I remember when their location was several units down from their current location. But I’ve still got great memories of of visiting the original location when I was a kid in the early 90’s. As there was literally only two pizza spots in Acton back in my childhood during the early 90’s. Being The Pizza Place & Michael’s Pizza. And it’s great to know that The Pizza Place is still going strong.
Anyways, my mother was passing through for work just a few years back and said that it was just as good as it was 30 years ago. And the next time I’m in So Cal and have the opportunity to visit my childhood town I’d love to visit The Pizza Place again.
