I was having several back to back BSOD and the original builder of my PC hooked a lot of things up poorly.

I needed all Blue Screens fixed, CPU fan connected and the top usb ports fixed and connected.

Ben built us a computer that is so much better and faster than our ancient desktop! It took him a couple of days to get the parts, and less than that to put it together. The price was very reasonable! When we asked if he could fix our old computer to use as a back up, he gave us a price, then offered us a rebuilt laptop (which we really preferred) for the same price. We took the laptop! Ben is knowledgeable, very quick to respond to communication and his prices are more than reasonable. We were able to take our computer in the same morning we called, and were without it for only one day. While he was waiting on parts for the build, he loaned us a part that would allow our old pc to work until he got everything in. He is transparent with his pricing as well. It's a huge plus that he lives about five minutes from us.

I would like to take a second to thank you. I woke up this morning powered on my Gaming pc to start editing some videos of yesterday's mountain bike ride. When i powered on my pc my graffix card fried. I got in contact with ben before he was even open for the day and got my desktop dropped off. He had it diagnosed and a new card put in before lunch! I was very hesitant on who i was going to take my build to knowing how crazy this world is now adays! Ben is a solid dude!

I had a laptop computer that had a broken DC power jack on the motherboard that is soldered on. I did not have the proper soldering equipment to do the DC power jack repair my self. I also am a Affordable Computer Service & Repair guy with my own business. I did some looking around for other computer places that do that kind of work (soldering) & did not find what I was looking for until I called Flat Rate Computer Guy. I was really pleased with his communication when I talked to him on the phone. He told me he had many years of soldering experience & that he did have the proper equipment to do the soldering job (DC power jack). He also told me if I wanted to drop it off it would be done with in 24 hours. I dropped my motherboard off to him that needed a New DC power jack soldered onto the motherboard & I was very impressed with the workmanship he did with the soldering of the New DC power jack. Also he actually had it done way before the 24 hours he told me he would have it done. The price he charged me to remove the Bad DC power jack & re-solder the New DC power jack on my motherboard was very good & fair. Ben does EXCELLENT Quality work & he knows his stuff. Thanks Ben, I will be coming to you again if I have any other computer work I am not able to do (soldering).
