Plus all these officers do is chit-chat all day long and accepting churros from travelers entering the United States. Most of them need go back to training or need new supervisor.

We accidentally went in sentri lane because my husband said signage was null. The agent put the red cone on the vehicle and we were directed by him to the side . They briefly asked if we had anything like fruits veggies 🥕 anyways long story short they made us un load all of the bags 💼 from the top. We told them we had some veggies 🥗 but they still said they had to inspect everything even the hood and the engine - I had all my children with me and they sent us without water or good to a room where officered ar standing around looking like we’re criminals -
I have the border officer rhe look as I was upset and knew this was wrong - the checked “everything but failed to take the tomatoes 🍅 and other veggies 🥗- the system is so bad. They are god complexed individuals with a grandiose sence of entitlement - they didn’t have a search warrant and the first treatment we received was horrible for being Human period . I feel for those students being held at the order and many having their visas revoked on top of Canadians being discriminated and held for 12 days for no sence. I’m really upset at this branch of government and it’s leaders

I have crossed twice these last two weeks; The entrance to Mexico is fast and they don't ask you for any documentation, I have crossed around 7:45 am both times and I have never encountered traffic or delays to enter Mexico. the different story is to leave, the first time I waited 1 hour and it was already around 4:00 PM, the crossing was normal, you show your identification, you declare what you bring from Mexico. the second time I returned at 10 am and I was in traffic for 2 hours and a half; It was exhausting, the heat, the slowness. likewise the officers did their job, politely. You pass the controls and that's it.

They are proficient. 5 lanes open heading into the US. When we come across in to Mexico it's 3 lanes. Usually very quick to get into Mexico.

The right two lanes are slower. But they are for all passports (“ready” lane if you have a passport card).

The farthest lane from the right (3rd) is the FASTEST, but!!!! It is for SENTRI pass only!!! If you cross via SENTRI lane without the SENTRI card, it’s a 5000$ penalty.

SENTRI membership is a membership that allows eligible travelers to access expedited lines at U.S. Customs and lasts for five years. Eligibility extends to U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents and all foreign nationals.

First note, Google maps takes you straight to the Sentri lane. It is not marked as such where we went or we would not have gotten in that lane. We were both looking for the signs to get to the correct lane. Until the guy at the crossing told us, we had no idea we were in the Sentri lane. We were then completely searched and told it is a $5,000 fine if it happens again. It was not a fun experience. While I know we messed up, it was not intentional and the signage needs to be better.
Hopefully they can add some more signs before more find out the hard way!

I have had problems three times with their drug sniffing dogs. Those dogs can find what they’re looking for 10 to 15 feet away yet they are pushed to touching you sniffing your private parts rubbing against you and I am allergic to dogs I have tried to tell them that they have been disrespectful every single time the last time I ended up in a room with two canine officers And a supervisor and they tell me to do something different each time so next time I am supposed to call the security over and explain to them I’m allergic to dogs I do not want that dog touching me sniffing me sniffing my private parts it is all nothing but intimidation and disrespect to the customers coming through the port of entry
