My wife and I have been customers for the last 4 years and were supposed to be on auto fill but it always seems that we have to call and remind them when to fill us up in the winter. We always get so.e kind of excuse on when they haven't been doing their job and of coarse we get topped off with 300 gallon delivery when diesel prices climbed sky high. Now we're sitting at 3 months with fuel delivery yet again and whe. We called they told my wife that they would be out in the next week or 2. Their customer service is beyond horrible and I have switch companies to someone a little more reliable

For the past year, I have had to call each month to arrange delivery even though I am supposed to be on a monthly fill. I would be told they would come that week only to have no one show up prompting a second and even a third call. In January, I spoke to a gentleman and was again assured I would filled on a monthly basis. We very clearly discussed the reason for monthly delivery given that my last bill was over 1000.00 as my last delivery had been over 9 weeks prior. HOWEVER, this did not happen. I again had to call for delivery in March and asked why I still was not on monthly fills only to be told they don't fill monthly as it risks needing only 60 gallons or less and that is not cost effective. Needless to say, I am not pleased with the level of customer service at AFD despite that fact that they have excellent drivers who did respond to emergencies extremely prompt.

Last year fuel delivery did not go well, took over a week for delivery and my cabin froze, I had to find somewhere else to stay. I gave them another chance this winter and they delivered the next day, and were clear in their communication.

FYI though if you estimate more fuel than will fit in your tank, they may charge you for the estimate rather than the actual amount. Make sure you check the invoice with the amount taken out of your account. That’s what happened to me, but as soon as I called them they promptly refunded me.

I call them every 2.5 to 3 months and say I need fuel. They arrive usually the next day and top me off. I don’t have anything negative to say about this company. I usually prepay my account, they take what the cost was, and that’s it. The only thing I’d like to know is what my balance is after fuel is provided. I’m fine with a email on how much it costed and what’s my balance on the account remaining. Keep up the good work. This is a great company and I don’t think I’ll ever switch to a different company. They can go up on cost that’s life. I won’t switch because of cost. As long as they remain dedicated to prompt delivery, I’ll always be a customer.

The delivery guys are good and don't complain when I have stuff in their way. However, my payment plan amount was changed without letting me know. My heater has issues with the fuel when it's really cold - that's never happened before and I wonder if they're using a blended fuel.

We ran out of fuel and were put on “emergency delivery” after calling in the minute they opened and explaining our situation. We were reassured we would be one the first deliveries of the day and would have fuel no later than 10am and I called in at 12 and 1 and 2 and they didn’t get to us until almost 4pm. I was stuck in a freezing house with little kids and had to call their Dad when it got too cold to leave work and lose wages to get fuel. When I called in to see what had happened and why they had falsely reassured us no one in the office seemed to think it was a problem to have no followed through at all. I recommend going with any other more Alaskan company who won’t leave customers stranded.

Amazing service! A few years back I had a fuel thief causing issues for me and the temps were really low. AFD came back a couple days in a row to help me not freeze up from this theft. I have since installed security and it has not happened again but I will never forget their responsiveness during this overwhelming time.
