Eric at Equipment Source Rentals was incredibly helpful and the rental process was convenient to get the equipment needed to redo the concrete slab in my garage. Use of a Kubota Excavator and Toro Mud Buggy made the laborious work easy and quick. I highly recommend renting equipment for your next construction project from ESI!

Milo at ESI was great to deal with. There were a couple of set backs due to the time of year and he was open about them every step of the way. He kept in constant communication and answered every question I had. He even got me a better deal on financing than I got on my own when I was ready to purchase my new tractor. Milo and ESI were also the only dealer in town that called me back when I started shopping around. 5 stars. I would recommend ESI to anyone looking to get into a new piece of equipment.

I've bought a tractor and a couple attachments from ESI. Happy with all of it. The people are always friendly and easy to work with. The only feedback I would offer (and why I didn't give you a 5) is that your communication isn't the greatest. Maybe you're overworked and understaffed like everyone else but I generally have to call 2-3 times to find out what's going on with my order or service or whatever is going on. You probably have 100's of pieces of equipment you're ordering or servicing at any given time, but for the customer, it's our only one and we kinda need it, ya know? Maybe just once a week or so, give the customer a call with an update so we know what's going on. 🙂

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. I have purchased several gen sets from equipment source and every single one has had warranty related issues with radiators, missing seals, alternators. Their warranty service is absolutely worthless. I've had to pay out of pocket thousands of dollars to fix machines that are less than one year old. I would not recommend equipment source to my friends or family. If you're looking for a diesel gen set contact Alaska Diesel Electric.

I was excited to get a new tractor, but very disappointed in the only kubota dealer in Alaska. I requested a quote and was encouraged to lock in a price with a deposit. I used my credit card to do so. Salesman said it would be 3-4 weeks to build. OK I said even though it was on sale with dealer incentives and discounts at a $3000 premium to the price of other dealers in the states. I thought OK, it is expensive but let's try to buy local, it was supposedly in stock in state, and I had need for a tractor now. A week later the salesman Mike in Anchorage calls and said "management decided they are not making enough money" and that they were raising the price another $2000 on top of an already hefty markup over manufactures suggested retail. I thought that was very unscrupulous practice and verbally reluctantly agreed to the additional premium. ....4 weeks later, another call, Mike stating it was that it was not being built when promised and they wanted another 2-3 weeks on top of the 4 weeks I'd already waited, because of "technical problems." by this time I was souring on Equipment Source of Alaska. I requested a refund of my deposit, which they allowed but charged 3 % of both the deposit and the refund amount. Plus an additional random charge. Kubota, your Sole Alaska dealer is not representing you well. Dealer is unscrupulous, tardy and poorly managed. I imagine dealer support would equal presale support only worse. I would not recommend to a friend.

Kubota tractors continue to impress me. They’ve combined quality, durability, and a certain ruggedness at a price point well under other ag brands. They do a number on snow but it doesn’t end there...light gravel work, landscaping, gardening, and food plot install/maintenance put this machine to the test and so far I have yet to miss a deadline. Great folks to work with at ESI coupled with fast service keep me going all year long!

So far so good; I have been considering a tractor or SVL in the near future. Dealer has been supportive but not pushy. Ive been able to demo few and will be demoing one more and make a decision:) Great folks
