Worst delivery service. Wanted Captain D's. 6 piece hushpuppies was over $9 on hometown2go and $4 straight from captain D's.. My order that should be $10 for 10 piece shrimp and a 6 piece hushpuppies turned into a over $20 for just the food. Not to include the over $10 in different delivery fees... just wow. $30 for $8 worth of food.

This is a very shady business.. they don't call you back and half the time their phone number doesn't even work. They told the restaurant owner that they called me back to tell me that they weren't going to issue a refund and that was a lie. They had never called me back. They told me that they were going to issue a refund for the food that was improperly made. Do not use this platform.

Check your receipts... they charged $9.95 for a combo that only cost $6.99. Plus an extra $1.39 mixed in with the tax for a service fee.... After paying that plus and delivery fee and driver tip, I spent $11.96 in fees for a meal that only cost $7.62. To make things worse the delivery fee was half off today, imagine if I was placing an order with zero discounts. The drivers are wonderful and the service itself is good, but I can not justify the cost anymore. Between the upcharge on food items and service fees getting mixed in your you tax after you already paid a delivery fee. It's just downright sketchy. I use services like grubhub, uber eats and doordash a lot when I'm in Huntsville and I haven't had issues like this. Don't get me wrong, I fully understand fees and tips are necessary for a delivery service and that a smaller business needs to charge more sometimes to stay a float. At the very least you should be refunded the difference when the prices on their menu are incorrect... And keep the taxes separate from any other fees you want to charge. I really want to like this company, but I expect better value for the service and more transparency on fees. I highly encourage anyone using this service to take a good look at their receipts.

Love this service! I have ordered food through the app many times. It’s easy to use, there’s almost always a coupon code to use, and the order status notifications are excellent! Management responds quickly, and the drivers are always polite.

Couldn’t recommend this service more. I’ve ordered from them several times; never a mixup, never a mistake in my order, never a delay. They are fast, professional, and happy to serve. The owners are also very charitable, providing meals for first responders, nurses, and so on. They also run promotions where they’ll give away some revenue to families in need. Way less expensive and much faster than the large chain delivery services available in larger cities.

I've used Hometown2go several times now and I couldn't be more excited that we finally have a delivery service and they really care about doing it right! The drivers are just fantastic! Always nice and have never been late. Usually they get my food here early still fresh and hot! Way to go hometown2go! Thank you guys for all you do!!!
