I eat there whenever I’m in the area. Great food in the goofiest location, which only adds to its charm, at least for me.

If Mama Theresa (previous owner) knew how this place is ruining her reputation!!? If I could give a "no star" review I would. Terrible service. horrible atmosphere, and the food.....mostly fat and burnt. Portions have gotten smaller. I'll never eat there again. Mama T - come back. I wanted delivery - "we don't have delivery today"......Poor management and terrible staff. I wouldn't doubt that they are not following required "serve-safe" guidelines.

I always get there breakfast sandwiches at another gas station. They are delicious. I decided to stop in at the main location to get lunch. I got two large 12 Inch sandwiches. What I got was two 8 inch sandwiches for $24. So disappointing.

Has potential... Food is alright. Customer service is poor, and they have literally no condiments. Their sandwiches could be elevated so much more with homemade ranch, or garlic mayo, or tons of different sauces to make their food even better.

They should also get their own place and get out of a gas station.

They make an unexpectedly good salad. Most of the servers try to hide or look away when I go to order, though, which makes it hard to get food. I know social interactions can be stressful, and I'm not that easy on the eyes, but was really hoping to get lunch today. :/

Tried this place because of the decent reviews and we had a BnB near by. Would not recommend this to anyone and we ended up buying two pizzas because of how bad it was and how little the portions were. It is gas station bbq, yes literally in a gas station. We got 3x Family for 4 meals to serve 10 people and maybe got 6 meals out of it. The ribs were not good and were pink and tough to get off the bone, the brisket was leather and the pulled pork was okay. If this is the best that VT has to offer for BBQ then maybe it’s deserving of the 4.4 stars. You’re better off with pizza or something safer if you’re in the area and looking for a respectable dinner.

Had some really tasty brisket. For $13, brisket and two sides, good value good food. Atmosphere would get a 1 because its in a gas station, but instead it gets a 2, because... its in a gas station!!

Found this place because our normal bathroom stop wasn't available. This is in the Mobil gas station store. Food smelled good so we got a sandwich, the pappy as it's called. Breakfast food, very big, and very good. My wife and I shared one. They also do barbecue that I have to imagine is good as well if the breakfast food is anything to judge by. Never would have found this if the other gas station near by had their bathroom open. Now that we know it's there, this will be our stop from now on when we are in Rutland.
