This place goes hard, this was my first time to Ted's, I got a chicken melt sub and an order of garlic bread with sauce.

I was blown away, this sammy was cheaper than subway, packed full of flavor, the fried chicken cutlet had actual flavor (some kind of seasoning or sauce, not just plain) and was tender, the bread, cheese and sauce mixed well and brought me a huge hit of dopamine.

The garlic bread was an entire sub roll, and loaded with actual fresh garlic and cheese (not garlic powder). I can't speak to their pizza yet but I will be back to try more food.

The atmosphere is definitely dated and older, but I don't even care because of how good the food was, and the staff were friendly and inviting.

Edit I went and had another toasted sub and was blown away again.

Wow!!! New owners of this establishment are doing just amazing!!! The pizza is flaky, crispy and the flavors were absolutely delicious, the bottom is cooked to perfection….i forgot to take the pics of the full pizza cause it smelled so delicious i just wanted to dig in, god bless you guys!! Great food and great people, thanks Teds!!! The White Tomato is a must have!!!!

I am a pizza enthusiast and always hated the original sauce from the Ted’s before. I’m from NY Queensbury area and always searched for the best pizza. I’ve worked at several Pizza places young in life. The new Ted’s has the best sauce and the best crust. All around best pizza I have ever had. Just try it once and you will see the reason for this review.

New ownership has made improvements on original recipe pizza and customer service was fantastic. Local drama should not affect one of the few good local businesses around here.

I've lived in Rutland for a few years now. I've been to all the pizza places and they all have their own charm. When you order from Teds, you order good food at a good price. I'm sorry there are negative reviews here, because this place is awesome. Definitely a great pizza!

I'm seeing alot of negativity towards the new owners because of some drama. While everyone is entitled to thier own opinion, I'm not going to let some drama get in the way of a good meal. I've been going to Teds for many years now. At least 10+ and I've always enjoyed it. I got just a plain jane pepperoni pizza last week to try out the "new" Teds and to be perfectly honest it was great! I dare say better. The crust was cooked perfectly. Nice and crispy but not too crispy if that makes sense. Like I said, everyone's entitled to thier own opinion and this is mine. I will most definitely be going back. Don't let drama affect your decision to come here.

I never thought this was a post I’d be making as someone who was literally brought into the world while my father was eating a Ted’s Pizza. For 34 years and much longer, this has been our family’s favored pizza joint.

I wanted to be optimistic about the new ownership, but each time we’ve ordered since the transition, things haven’t been quite right. Dough was undercooked, ratios weren’t correct. We figured it takes time to perfect recipes, etc, but continued coming back anyway for the long beloved tradition and smiling faces of long employed staff, who over time have become like family.

Whoever made the decision to let Theresa, who was and should have remained a permanent fixture at this restaurant, go—has made a detrimental mistake. This is no longer Ted’s Pizza and to continue to call whatever this farce is by that name is blasphemy.

It’s truly disappointing when someone new comes in and has no respect for long held traditions or individuals that have been at the game much longer.

For these reasons, we will no longer be supporting this business.

Please dont let the bad reviews fool you. Its a real shame some folks decided to be hateful towards this place for a situation they knew nothing about. How quickly some tried to destroy someone's means of making a living not knowing what really happened. I would hope the those of you who did so would rethink your decision and take your untruthful, negative reviews down. Especially those of you who attend Sunday service. We as a community are better than this, or so I thought...
