I was concerned about a worker in this store that I was supposed to meet but never made it home. I quickly popped in to ask the lady at the counter if they knew when they left. I was confronted with very short attitude. Still really confused on why. I told her who I was and why I was meeting them. I asked her why she was being short with me. She immediately call the police. I'm not leaving anything out. It was that quick. I would definitely have a talk with her. This was 8/3/23 at 2:30pm.
Very unprofessional!

I always take my bottles back to hometown I took them back this morning in a Industrial garbage bag the really big one's I counted myself before I brought them back I usually bring them back once a month I had about 10+ dollars so I took them to hometown and when I got my slip to bring into the store it said $2.60 I brought it back to the bottle counter and said this is wrong he says no it's not I explained I counted them myself and stoped after 10 dollars because there's no point in bringing only a couple dollars back regaurdless he was rude and waved his arms at me..so I went into the store got the lousy $2.60 and told the guy working that the bottle guy needs to learn to count.there was never a issuie when Randall was there but this guy will miscount your bottles I guess the damage is done but will be going to bevarge mart for now on if there was a no star rating thats what I'd rate.I suggest if you do return your bottles to go to Beverage Mart unless you want to lose out on money. And yes I'm ranting about bringing bottles back only because I knew how much money I had and my big bag of bottles not to mention the guy behind me had a small grocery bag and he walked out with a $5 bill now tell me how that equals to what I had. anyway we'll never be going to Hometown again. the only good part is the deli when they decide to wear their masks. Maybe I'll get my other $8 back by reporting them for being open and not protecting the community by wearing mask because I'm pretty sure to be open and around food and last of six feet apart you have to wear a mask.

Unbelievable deli! Sure, you can go to Subway for $6 and get a footlong made of "fresh" ingredients, or you can get an actual fresh sandwich from Hometown for a buck more. They use the best bread, their concoctions like the Cubby panini is crazy good, and the whole staff is friendly and ready to help you out, which is a lot more than I can say for any other store. A+!

Owner very nice but employee Jenn Killgren is very impolite to customers. Very unprofessional. I would not want that type of employee working at my establishment.
