Great company. I have a Metavic 1500 from these guys and they go above and beyond to take care of the customer just as well after the sale as they do before. I'll buy here again.

(Buyer beware). They sold me a brand new tractor that the serial number year didn't match the year they put on the paper work I didn't realize until I went to trade tractor in I guess it's my fault for trusting them I would expect that kind of thing from private sale but from a dealer I mean have some pride in your business dealings at the end of the day I will never go back there or send anyone I know to them if you do just be mindful and do your homework it's sad business has come to this

If you go to Pete's equipment rental website and go to rent a skid steer, it says $1300 a week with no fine print below it . Apparently, one week to them means five days. One day means one day, a month rental is 28 days, a one week rental is 5 days. Reading through their many others agree that they are very misrepresentative about their price. They are not serving their neighbors and community. They are attempting to fleece them. Shame on you.

DO NOT RENT FROM PETE'S.
I requested a skid steer and specifically stated I'd be using it to spread stone to build a driveway. The machine they dropped off was a forestry machine and was apparently not designed for this use because the rubber wheels it had on it wore down quickly. I returned the machine and Pete's would not take ANY RESPONSIBILITY for the damage and charged me $3200 to replace the wheels on the machine.
I rented a machine from Essex Equipment the week before to do the exact same job and had absolutely no problems at all and they were much more pleasant to work with.
From this experience its obvious that Pete's employees are completely unaware of the intended uses of the machines they rent and then take advantage of customers by charging them to service machines in their shop.
Many other people in the area have had similarly bad experiences with Pete's Equipment. I will be avoiding them entirely in the future and would recommend anyone else to do the same.

Customer service was great, but the prices of the rentals were pretty high. Also when I visited there was no option for delivery and was directed somewhere else for that. Which is fine but also having the option to rent some of the used equipment they sell would be a plus for customers who are on a tighter budget. I understand it's a business and the machinery is expensive and in the end I wasn't able to rent anything due to the cost of outside delivery being nearly as much as the rental itself. Considering I live 6 miles from the location the fees seemed high. I'm sure if you can haul your own equipment or your financial situation isn't a concern then you will be very happy shopping here. Some people just want a simple tractor with a bucket (no fancy cab with a heater and other bells and whistles) and I wasn't able to get that here. All in all a great company and good customer service but not for the little guy perhaps.

Deceitful. Won't admit fault in any areas- human error with the paperwork or when the salesman makes a mistake. Worst of all nobody that works there cares that the salesman was unprofessional, disrespectful or degrading. They just laugh about it and say that I'm the one that was wrong for taking a disrespectful comment the wrong way and they refuses to apologize for it. Take your business elsewhere to someone that will at least pretend to be sincere.

We purchased a tractor from Pete's this fall just before the snow started to fall. Used it for 19 hours and one of the welds broke. The tractor was not under manufactures warranty, but Pete's fixed it for us. Excellent Customer Service! Thanks!!
