So great! I came in to get some wood shelves for a small closet project and they had wood already painted with primer, and were exceptionally nice speccing it out with me and cutting the board. As a woman walking into a lumber yard, it can be a little intimidating, but this place is welcoming and has great products at reasonable prices.

Checked this place out after being constantly disappointed with big box stores wood quality and selection. I'm starting my journey into woodworking and I think this place may be my new goto. After taking a long lap inside I was impressed by the tools and parts available. Inside the hardwood selection was okay but limited to smaller boards and species. The quality of wood was great though. Outside, the plywood and boards species and sizes were what I was looking for. Tim in the yard actually walked new around showing me what they had. He was extremely friendly, helpful, and seemed genuinely happy to be working there. There needs to be more Tim's in the world.

I am all in favor of supporting small business, shop local.
Have supported them when big stores open near Morristown, accepted to pay more for the same items just to support.
Lately they have been extremely disappointed.
Very unprofessional and unfriendly,
No one salutes anyone, good forbid you have a question.
Changing prices after orders have been placed and paid,
Threatening to cancel an order after you have wait for weeks.
Anyway, I wish them luck but they have lost my business.

We bought the wood for our fence here, and we have also gone in here a couple of other times to get miscellaneous supplies. The wood selection they had was great, and we got free delivery and free pick-up of the leftovers. It's a nice place to shop too! I think we've chatted with every employee in the place at least once, and they were very helpful and knowledge. They don't have everything we need each time, but we're happy this is the closest hardware store to us; we'll probably be going back frequently.

I have my own deck building business and this is the only place I order my supplies through for the past 10 years since my company’s inception. Competitive pricing and top-notch customer service, I highly recommend coming here over any of the box store home improvement centers. The staff will help you with measurements and give you a complete understanding of what you’re purchasing

I’d never again buy anything here. I ordered Andersen windows back on March 21, 2022. I certainly understand Andersen being behind schedule because of Covid. Was told they would arrive in July. Then I went there in person in August and was told October. Went again 10/3/22. Was told they would arrive 10/18/22. Called to confirm they were there. Went this morning 10/19/22 to pick them up and the guy in the back building who helped load them in my truck told me they’ve been sitting there since June. All this while I was told we’ll call you when they arrive. I could have had them 4 months ago. Never ever received a call.

I used to shop at one of the Big Box stores. About three years ago i switched to Morristown Lumber. They are now my go to for home improvement projects. You can actually find people in the store and they are actually helpful, even for novices. They are patient and polite.

Great selection, helpful staff, reasonable prices. Also they will deliver lumber and materials locally included in decent sized orders.
