Never coming back. The older gentleman working the counter was rude, short and curt with his answers. He told me to look on the greenhouse outside for vegetables and flowers, "Just go out there and you'll be happy" he said rudely, waving me off and going back onto his phone on the counter. The plants in the greenhouses were dying, covered in weeds, and just sad and pathetic looking. Several plants weren't even in containers. Plants were knocked over, dehydrated, weeds were growing in from outside covering the plants, and there were even plants in the middle that had weeds growing in the middle of them. There were water puddles with mold growing in the middle of walking orange, so you couldn't even get to plants. This place is obviously not well taken care of. I'm not looking to buy plants that I'm going to have to weed and nurse back to health before I can plant them to avoid shock, and I'm not looking to be brushed off by an older guy that doesn't want to help people.

Edit after receiving reply: The reply from the owner didn't help the situation at all. It felt like they were just trying to make excuses by calling the time I went in their "late season." May/June should not be your late season for these things, especially in Utah, and especially after the Winter/Spring we just had. It felt like my concerns were not validated or cared about, but whatever, it just encourages my desire to not go back there at all.

I bought 4 plants last week. I have love shopping at the Flower Factory but this year I let my husband choose one plant and as you can tell it looks dead. A plant should not die in a week. We even kept it in the shed on the cold we we had in May but it does not look good😫

My daughter recently lost her cat and wanted a special plant to go on top of her grave, so when we got there and told the owner what we were looking for, not only did he direct us to a beautiful pot full of flowers, but he gifted them to her which made her day! Also, we went a few weeks before they opened for the season and we had no idea. It didn’t matter— he met us outside with a smile and was so kind and friendly as he helped us. It wasn’t until we were almost to the car that we found out they weren’t even open for the season, but he brushed it off and invited us back anytime. Based on this interaction alone, I will be going back for all of my plants and flowers! Aside from this, though, he is super knowledgeable and has a lot of variety to choose from. Highly recommend!!

Above and beyond wonderful customer service! I brought my neighbor in to select several pots of flowers. She is in poor health, in a wheelchair and the clerks were so good to ask her preferences and bring several options for her to choose from. They were so kind and sweet with her. She was so pleased with her choices and they look beautiful in her yard. Their flower arrangements are beautiful and less expensive than most other greenhouses. It’s our new favorite place for flower arrangements. They also have bedding plants and frequent flower pot parties where you can bring your own pots and plant your favorite flowers.

Very friendly workers! Mike, an older gentleman who volunteers there is very knowledgeable and helpful with tons of information and tips about growing different kinds of flowers and vegetables! Great selection, and a great example of a local business. Glad to see there are still family owned and operated places to go and support!

Their prices are good, but the plants are sad. They’re not well cared for, and the three small greenhouses are marshy and muggy. Most plants are too leggy from lack of light and need to be pruned, and most of the ones outside are sunburned and dry.

The staff was friendly but not terribly helpful. When I asked for tomatoes, the cashier pointed me to the middle greenhouse and mentioned the tomatoes were a little disorganized, with her apologies. That was a major understatement, as the tomato varieties were mostly unlabeled. It was very hard to find what I was looking for while wading across the swampy dirt floor.

I wouldn’t visit again without another freebie mailer, though I did grab some $2 herbs while I was there for a free tomato. I’m just hoping the plants live. Meanwhile, I’ll continue shopping at Diamond’s.
