I don’t often share negative reviews, but what happened to my family recently needs to be heard.
My father-in-law, a first-generation immigrant, has spent the last 25+ years working at Mondi as a machine operator. Since the day he arrived in the U.S., he’s exemplified resilience— in the beginning riding his bike to and from work every single day, consistently working six 12-hour graveyard shifts a week, and showing unwavering dedication to his job.
This last wesk, he was terminated without warning after being accused of physically assaulting a coworker. However, the security footage shows something entirely different: he gently placed a hand on his colleague’s arm while respectfully asking them to get off their phone. No aggression, no harm—just a moment of communication taken entirely out of context.
Something that is emphasized as a company core value is safety- this coworker that was on his phone for over an put himself and my FIL at risk of great injury by being distracted on his phone. This decision has shocked not only our family but also his other coworkers and even the union HR representative, who have all expressed concern that this may be an instance of racial or ethnic discrimination.
It’s deeply troubling to see a loyal, hardworking employee treated this way—especially by a company that claims to value integrity and respect. This isn’t just about one person. It’s about the standard we hold companies to when it comes to fair treatment and accountability. Mondi, do better.

Very nice place.
For the docks, turn on 2400 south, drive along building to the back...turn left into gated yard. The receiving/shipping office is corner door to your left as you enter yard.
Employees are helpful and pleasant
Loading/unloading is fairly quick.
Driver restroom inside. thank you
Yard is large and very driver friendly.

So far Mr. Dave who had checked me and was very nice. I'm not sure how the loading process of going to workout.

I was told by Mr Dave usually with two guys the loading average process is 30 minutes.
