The parking lot is always packed and they do have a large variety of choices. From fishing, hunting, and camping gear to coloring books and toys, tools and barbecue to military surplus. They used to have a sign that read something to the effect of "we have anything you can think of, if we can find where we put it" I haven't noticed it lately. I usually go here for affordable jerky that doesn't have me taking a personal loan for a small bag. It's literally an ace hardware, camping world, Kmart, military surplus, and novelty shop all rolled into one large building.

Love this place. Something for everyone. Military surplus, hunting and fishing equipment, toys, gifts, lawn and garden, hardware, survival gear, camping, guns and ammo, unique food items and snacks. Massive store. Helpful staff. Perfectly happy wandering for hours. I live out of state but always try to leave myself enough time for a visit when traveling through the area.

Our all-time favorite place to visit when family comes from out of state. We always peruse the cooking bins and check out the camping and hunting gear. Tents and camping chairs were on display, and we found some chairs that are perfect to replace our old broken ones. We ended up in the candy aisle--so many choices! We are definitely coming back for more fun!

I walked in, saw an employee, and asked where i could find what i needed. He said to follow him, and we walked right to what i was looking for. I even found a sale item. I grabbed it and walked right to the register and was greeted very nicely. I paid and walked out the door. All of this in less than 10 minutes, and i was on my way. I always enjoyed going to this store, but I haven't been there since the old man passed. The new look and arrangement is great. One day, I will go back and spend more time browsing.

This is ...just wow. Pretty much anything you could possibly need in 1 location. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Great place to go and look around but honestly it would be hard to not buy something once you're there. Highly recommend checking them out!

I love shopping Smit n Ed's. They have some of everything you can think of. Good prices, super friendly staff. It's more of a fun family day than it is a shopping day.

We have spent thousands in this store on tack, boating, shoes, guns, ammo, food storage and tools. Every year we have purchased gardening supplies and plants as well… I hadn’t been in the store very long and had only handled a couple things when I was approached and told that “someone” saw me put something in my bag and could they look inside. I was taken back and opened my bag to show nothing more than my wallet. They walked away without apology or any explanation, very rudely and as if I put them out. I left the store feeling offended and violated to never return. An apology goes a long way! Accusations and embarrassment does to!
