I’ve been going to Angelica’s for the past 5–6 years, regularly purchasing between 16 to 32 plates at a time to feed my oil & gas customers in South Texas. The lady who usually helps me is always kind and helpful, and I’ve always appreciated the service—until today.

I called in my usual order an hour ahead, requesting mixed beef and chicken fajitas with extra sausage—something my customers really enjoy. It is Good Friday, and I wanted to give them a special meal. But when I arrived in Floresville, I received a call saying the owner refused to fill my order because it was “too much.”

If she didn’t want to accept the order, she could have let me know at the time I placed it—not after I had driven all that way. I had to scramble to find another local Mexican restaurant willing to help so my customers could eat on time.

This was deeply disappointing, especially on a meaningful day like Good Friday. I’ve been a loyal customer for years, but after the way I was treated today, I won’t be returning. I rarely write reviews, but this experience really hurt, and I felt it needed to be shared.

I love your beef enchiladas. They’re fresh, hot, and especially delicious tonight. I love the extra special care you put into the authentic flavors of your hot meals. Was disappointed at we weren’t greeted at all and it took 20 minutes to have someone ask for our drink order. Then when finally able to order we waited 30 minutes and decided to leave and go elsewhere . When we asked to pay for our drinks kindly they told us not to worry about it but we left just to go elsewhere to eat . It wasn’t busy there were some customers yes but not to the point of ignoring us especially when others and in af yes r us and we’re served without wait .

The barbacoa taco was good but they ran out so i only got one. Then i got a carne asada taco, it had a little meat not much. The enchiladas were pretty good but the beans were a bit pasty or chalky to the taste. I like the option of two salsas they have at the table one not spicy and the other somewhat spicy, but to bad they dont give tostadas when you get there. Other than that the ladys that served us were nice, so far it the better restaurant in Floresville that ive been to. Little pricey for two people

So disappointed at this place 😞 We were there like 45 minutes only for aTaco de asada and a plate of flautas, Never coming back..
