This is a large property with room for any size rig or RV. The lots were clean, well maintained, well lit and fairly level. There are picnic tables and grass area for your pups. The store and bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The store was well stocked and well staffed. I had 3 bars of Verizon 4G LTE Roaming, no wifi and no OTA television channels from my perimeter location. As always, I left my area cleaner than when I arrived and made an in store purchase to thank Chevron for allowing me to overnight.

Bad business! Do not stop here. Do not be disappointed. $9 for wiper fluid.

During a snowstorm we stopped to fill the tank, clean the windshield and fill the windshield wiper fluid….
Filled the tank, no problem, noticed the gas station is kind of dirty with trash and generally unkept outside.. The squeegee bins are ALL EMPTY and without any washing solution. Great, at this point I’m not surprised that a podunk, country gas station would be in such disrepair.

I went inside only to be unnoticed for 10 minutes. The employee, a young, healthy, country lady had been in the office on her cell phone without a whisper of acknowledgment or courtesy.
I placed wiper fluid on the counter and she told me that it would cost me $9 to buy a (Normally) $2 gallon of wiper fluid.

Highway robbery. I can’t imagine these people have any ethic or a moral bone in their body. While I support capitalism, I don’t support extortion. Generally speaking, (Most) self service stations have free amenities they offer to customers.

Inflation is a real issue in 2022, and apparently terrible people are too.

Skip this gas station if you ever consider it for a pit stop.

I imagine the repair shop next door is under the same ownership. I don’t want to know the kind of games they play with people in desperate situations in the middle of nowhere.

Since Terrible Herbst took over and had a chance to change some things, this place is cleaner and better stocked. I used to only stop here in an emergency but now might make it a regular.

Gas station was 2 miles away from I-70 exit. If I ran out of gas it will be a good hike. Then we encountered a herd of sheep while leaving, not a bad thing just crazy to witness that.
