My photos are from two separate visits to Firehouse Subs. During my first visit, the experience was fantastic—I was in and out in no time, thanks to a short line. The second time I visited, the line was nearly out the door, so I decided to leave, not because of the food, but simply because I didn't have time to wait.

This location is clean, with friendly and efficient staff. There's ample seating both inside and outside. Being situated at the end of the shopping center makes the outdoor seating particularly pleasant, as there's limited traffic and noise. I will definitely visit again and hope the line will be a bit shorter next time.

The best sandwich (Hook and Ladder) and salad (side salad/balsamic)! Periodt. They always have great customer service. I usually grab and go, but I decided to enjoy the nice weather in their outdoor eating area. Repeat customer.

Came there for the first time to try the Cuban sandwich. I was very happy with the meal, but it did take about 20 minutes to make, even with 4 people behind the counter, the place was almost half full, many already dining.
Returned a month later, same sandwich but it didn't have the "Cuban" flavor.
So, in short, I think I'd say the franchise is lacking consistency. Good value, pretty good sandwich, dining area could be cleaner

Food was good and quickly brought out. Teller was not paying attention to the orders with his AirPods in his ears and it took him more time than usual to respond to anything said. All employees had AirPods in their ears and were shouting at eat other.

In response to Anna: I think you missed the point of the review. Although the food was good, the customer service was poor. The employees here do not pay attention to the customer and have a gross lack of understanding of how to interact with customers and fellow employees.

Shaq at this location went above and beyond to be kind to my kids, get our order to us quickly when the store was busy with a catering order, and made the best sandwiches I’ve had at a Firehouse in a long time.
He’s an example of someone who takes pride in his work and it shows!

This location was NASTY AF. NOone acknowledge me when I entered the location. Wait over 2 minutes before I was help and there was NO ONE else before me or even there.... WoW ? POOR SERVICE!!!!
So I was hungry and wanted something by different. Tried this sorry place again. And realize why I don't eat here. My sandwich NOTHING LIKE I REQUESTED or order. Please view pic that's all I have to say.

I am a loyal customer of the consistently clean and well-run Firehouse Subs in Nashville. Given my positive experiences there, I expected the same quality when I visited the Birmingham location during a recent trip. Unfortunately, I was thoroughly disappointed.

Upon entering, I noticed a disorganized space and flies buzzed overhead. I ordered three of my go-to sandwiches but all arrived with incorrect toppings and one was barely toasted. It was as if no care was taken in their preparation. Making matters worse, the staff was rude and short with me, despite me being polite the entire way through.

The discrepancies between this franchise and my local Nashville restaurant are unbelievable considering it is the same brand. The Nashville Firehouse has never served me subpar sandwiches or a dining experience like this, with rude staff on top of it. As a faithful customer, I know they can do better. I hope the management, cleanliness, and staff courtesy issues here get resolved quickly. Until then, I’ll be enjoying the location I know back in Nashville, where flies, poorly made sandwiches, and rude employees are never an issue.

The young gentleman's that were working food counter did not acknowledge me when I came to counter. They were casually talking and for 3 minutes and I had to interrupt their conversation to get help.. They were u knowledgeable of the register and confused. They were slow at preparing order. One customer has been here 15 minutes and it's barely any customers. Drinks on counter and employees drinks and proceeds to prepare good. Manager was nowhere around. Two black kids one with red dreads and one with brown dreads.two caucasian kids one tall one short..11/03 evening shift
