I was in town to see my boyfriend and I just really needed pizza in my life on a late Sunday night. This man says he knows a place. So here we are. For it to be within an hour of closing time I would expect to be rushed off but we weren’t. In fact, they gave us a free fountain beverage and let us sit in a booth while we waited for the pizza. A few minutes after sitting we ended up getting some shots from the nice bar selection. The bartender was a nice lady and she was funny too. They had basketball playing on the tvs. And the music wasn’t too loud. There were some people in that appeared to be regulars of this establishment. Overall for the 30 minutes I was there I liked it and plan to return. Only thing that wasn’t my favorite was the price per a topping was a little higher than what I’m used to, it was worth it so no need to deduct stars. Andddd they had a wide range of toppings which was good because my dude was able to get ground beef since he doesn’t eat pork products. Free popcorn was a nice touch as well.

Let me start off by saying that I have left many 5 star reviews for Pizza Works in the past. The pizza is amazing! The atmosphere is great, and the servers are wonderful.

However, tonight's dinner was very subpar. It seems the kitchen was not operating well at all this evening. It took quite a while (just under an hour) for our pizza to arrive. Even longer for our appetizer of 3 potato skins. We arrived at 4:30, thinking we would beat the Saturday night crowd. It didn't look that busy. I understand it keeps getting more difficult to find good employees. I will definitely return because the pizza is so amazing. There is always an off night, I guess.

I had the specialty thin Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza and the Pepperoni pan pizza. 1st the CBR pizza was ok nothing special. There was alot of toppings which yall know I love. But it wasn't really thin crust Pizza. It wasn't crispy and barely any Ranch sauce, it's was very dry, but the dough was delicious. 6.5/10. Last but not Least the Pan Pizza. The pizza was delicious needed more Pepperoni. Maybe upgrade on their cheese, it's was really gummy and thick but tasty. The dough was perfect. So flavorful. 8.5/10. I met the owner he was a really nice guy. Shout out to my server JJ and the Cooks/Chefs in the back. Food Game 8.5/10. Price Game 6.5/10. Overall Pizza Works 8/10.

This place is an awesome Midwest pizza tavern. Super cozy bar, just dark enough and we visited at Christmas so all the decorations were right. We had the Chicago deep dish and it was on par with anything I've had in the Windy City. Friggin delicious and crazy affordable. Awesome service and can't wait to go back.

We had our Lutheran Social Services office Christmas party here.
The food was good although I couldn't eat a lot of it because most of it was fried and I'm on a restrictive diet so I would have liked to see more vegetables on the buffet but that was not a big deal.
The wait staff was attentive and responsive to our large party. They were very accommodating since there was a lot of us, we were loud and we were there for quite a while.
It was great that they allowed us to take home doggie bags if we wanted. I feel like that was extra. Overall, it was a positive experience

Good pizza pub!!! Open late during the week with a good menu. Pizza was super !! I stopped in on a Thursday night with the surprise of live blues music! Staff were very generous and prompt.

Went today for the first time & service was slow with only 3 tables. It's dark in there I'm thinking because of all the cobwebs. The pizzas we received were cold & not good & extremely burnt.. My husband ordered a pan pizza & was served a very thin pizza & was told by our waitress that her boss/owner told her to bring it to our table anyway even tho wrong & we wouldn't notice it wasn't a pan pizza. Sorry we noticed the difference. I ordered a regular pepsi & received diet. Let so called waitress know & she took it & supposedly fixed it 15m later & again it was diet. The bill was $71 but definitely NOT worth your money.!!! I wouldn't have posted here BUT the boss/owner needs to be called out on scamming customers. Shame on you!!!
