My husband found this place when I told him a had a craving for a burger. I am so happy he found this gem! Do not be fooled about what the building looks like because it looks like a hole in the wall but the inside was clean, and the people working there are super friendly. Me and my husband both got the two on two and added bacon to it with both grilled and raw onions. We got an order of hand cut fries to split, both the fries and the burger are PHENOMENAL!! I saved this place so I can come back when we come back to the area which is several times a year. We got a Diet Pepsi to split, everything was under $30 for both of us to eat and get stuffed!

The food was fine but nothing spectacular where I would say come out and try it.

Overall it's pretty much a letdown. It's old and a little dirty. I would have thought there would be more memorabilia or at least the theme of the sandlot be more present. Besides some faded photos there's not much here.

So I was in the neighborhood for memorial service and wanted to pick up some food for an early lunch. The place looked empty when I entered, maybe one person. I came up to the counter and ordered their Two-N-Two and some fries.

It didn't take too long for my food to come out. I started with fries and they were pretty good! I liked the fact that they were hand cut, not pre-frozen kind. I ordered my burger without onions (had to go back to work and deal with people), and it was pretty delicious! I think their special sauce was the difference!

Overall an A experience! If I am ever back in the neighborhood, I will stop by!

I had searched for burgers in the area as I’m not from Park Ridge.

Let me say I’m glad I found this place. The single burger was great. It was fresh and didn’t cost me a fortune. The toppings were fresh as my wife wow those onions are strong. I also ordered the fresh cut fries they were fried to perfection. Reminds of place in Lombard they had the best fresh cut fries. I think they have to step up their game.

They had holiday shakes and something else mixed with ice cream. I bought one for my wife. It was the candy cane milk shake to say it lasted long is an understatement it was gone so fast. I asked how was the shake it’s gone that should tell you it was delicious!

Before I left I spoke to an employee asked if he was the owner or manager. He said to me “I’m “JUST” an employee.” I told him to remove the “JUST” part as he is more than just an employee. I went on to say he’s worth than “JUST.” I hope he thinks about the word “JUST” in his career or life.

I’m glad I stopped for that burger, fries and milk shake. Otherwise I wouldn’t have met such great staff!

No frills place, reminds me of an In N Out. I ordered the Double Double, er, I mean the Two-N-Two. In my hurry I neglected to order their fresh cut fries. Doh! I wouldn't be surprised if they have a secret menu with Animal Style.

Prices are good, staff is friendly. Everything is made to order.

The burger was delicious. Perfectly seasoned, fresh ground beef. Fiance's chocolate shake was freshly made and tasty too.

I'll definitely be back for another burger, and I'll be sure to ask for fries.

SECOND VISIT: Fantastic burger, fries were okay but slightly undercooked. I don't like floppy fries. Three stars for the fries, five for everything else.

Cute old school place got home and the burger was super thin hardly flavor, the hot dog was nasty sorry to say. I thought it was going to be a pickle it's a slice of cucumber and the mustrd had 0 flavor the bread was soggy. The sauce was good and the fries but i will not be returning. Super cute based off the movie The Sandlot though.

If you want fresh food with fresh ingredients cooked fresh to order this is the place to go. I ordered a single cheeseburger, a two n two (double cheeseburger) and an order of fries. All were cooked fresh to order. The order itself only took about 5-6 minutes to prepare. The reward for waiting that 5 or 6 minutes? A fresh and juicy burger with fries that were crispy on the outside and pillowy soft on the inside. The fries were perfectly salted and reminiscent of another Chicago area great Gene n Judes. Pricing was about average for fast food in todays economy. The two n two was $7.39. Given that this burger isn’t much bigger than one of the national big 3 burger chains burgers, one might say the burger is overpriced. But lest we forget, this burger was made fresh to order and therefore justifies the cost. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The establishment could use a little sprucing up. The parking lot is in need of paving and the bathrooms could’ve used some attention. But I wouldn’t let these two things take away from the overall experience. On the google scale I am stuck giving 4 stars because the app doesn’t allow for partial scoring. However on my personal scale, all categories scored on a 1 thru 5 system and then divided by 3 leaves me giving the Sandlot a score of 4.67 out of 5

I highly recommend trying their burgers here. Patties are tender, and the bun is soft. Order fries separately. I ordered two n two with milkshake. Milkshake is the best! Something you can not miss. One order of fries is enough for 2 people to share. The place wasn't busy when we went on a Saturday night. The place was small, and some just ordered burgers to go. The crew was friendly. Affordable as well. Will definitely go back again.
