I didn’t believe the reviews either. Thought I could make it work. Percentage,mileage,whatever you do you will only make 800-1000$ a week. That’s before taxes. Fixed cost truck payment insurance etc is 1600$ a week. We travel 2500-3000 miles a week you do the math on fuel. To add insult to injury they charge a “road tax” that is cents per mile every mile you drive on a load. Literally everything is designed to keep you at less than 1100$ a week take home pay. Remember that’s BEFORE taxes. Taxes for independent contractors is 30%

I have been driving since 1997. Drove 3 years. Came back in 2013...I've been an O/O for majority of those years (6 years).
Trekker is a Lease Purchase Operation to me which a little different but it's the best Lease Purchase Program I have seen. I've been here a month. My friend has been here 3 years.
The staff here are nice. The listen to you. The maintenance program is awesome to me. They actually fixed trucks here.

If you consider Lease Purchase Program, give them a call.

This place is full of it. You will get sucked in with the first two weeks check. After that you Average $800-$1150 weekly. Remember no taxes are taken out so you will need to pay taxes on that. They do their best not to give you more than 3 loads a week. They don’t give you a selection of loads to pick from just give you what they send you. Will take loads away from you if you don’t accept what they send you. You’re just a glorified underpaid worker. Just remember everything is on you to be paid for every lease purchase company. Medical, dental, life “TAXES” needs to come out of that already small check. Oh you can take off anytime you want to here… But that truck payment will still be taken of for that week. So to take off a week will cost you $1000 that’s if you even make that in a week. If you hear anything different it’s lies, lol you been warned. Good luck

This place was once known as Earl L. Henderson Trucking Company. I got my 1 year OTR experience with them. I know what a garbage trucking company is like and since then I use "Trekker" as my base as when a company goes bad. Needless to say a year after I got out Earl L Henderson went bankrupt. Not surprising. What is surprising is that anyone would be dumb enough to do Lease with these leaches. The only good thing bout trucking companies like " Trekker " is to get your first year in and to aim for something alot better and yes there are mom and pop companies who are ALOT BETTER!

CARRIERS AVOID TO BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY

This guys are using Carrier411 as a tool agains you for non-sense. Try to stay away for booking a loads with Christian who has ego to the moon and his boss Dominic Swanfeld told me we need to do cheap load for them and they will think about to delete the FG.

The thing was our trainee guy called to get information for a load where him and Christian misunderstood about booking and he decided to FG an guy who is on training 2nd week as a dispatcher! No mercy for carriers

One of your drivers side swiped my truck today on the 69 in Oklahoma near Wagoner. They took the turning lane on my driver side then tried to come over/ pass me illegal. I’ve tried to call your company but know one answer. I left a message.

Trekker company doesn't care about safety. Trekker created numerous escrow accounts to keep your money. Every week there are new fees. Dispatchers were very disrespectful, like you work for them. You will never get consistent miles. They lie about pay and cut your advances off so you will never get out the red. Turnover rate is very high
