We drove a hour from Lisle to check out the hype.

They definitely delivered. They missed us saying pepperoni on the pizza but no biggie. Gives us a reason to go back and try again.

We were visiting Starved Rock State Park this month, and decided we wanted pizza for dinner and found this restaurant. We looked up some reviews ahead of time and confirmed that it is Cash Only. When you walk in, they ask you what toppings do you want, what size pizza, and what drinks you want. They have a thin crust pizza and the toppings were all fresh. I would highly recommend stopping in, or doing a pickup/Togo order to try out this pizza.

First time here. Good pizza. Quaint old building. Order when you walk in, they bring the pizza and drinks out to you. Booths are not huge, neither are the bathrooms. Cash only!

I read reviews of people driving an hour to dine here and now I know why....The pizza is AMAZZZZZZING!! not enough Z's to emphasize how good the pizza is here. The service was top knotch as well. Just a quick reminder CASH ONLY but well worth that stop at the ATM before you get there. Can't wait to come back with the family and try a mix of other toppings.

My family's been going there since before I was born. We try to go at least once a month for somebody's birthday or just go for fun. It's pretty good pizza and it's very consistent! The only thing that changes is the plates. Depending on how busy they are you might get paper plates. Really don't care because that gives me more space for more pizza! And leftovers are super good in the morning for breakfast. 30 years loyal and counting.

My wife and I have been coming here for over 35 years even though we've lived an hour away for the past 30. In all these years it hasn't changed a bit and that's a really good thing.We love this place and our kids now do too. The atmosphere is so nostalgic, like stepping back in time.Don't order a pizza without their hot sauce, it's life changing.
