after years of having my trailer ive decided to write a review on my 40ft gooseneck flatbed w/ mega ramps

The Pros: the trailer is indestructable been on 10 not at fault accidents 2 of them being rammed by police 1 18 wheeler wanting a free ride on the interstate 3 accidents of people running the lights and ending against my trailer and yet to have any mayor damage on it the thing is still perfectly squared with no frame cracks to be found ANYWHERE no axle issues just coupler does have developed some play and had to repair a minor crack where the coupler meets the gooseneck frame rails. For the amount its the best trailer for the money out there

The Cons:
the ramps have to much voids and to high of an angle to load a regular truck or car without scrapping it. the trailer wont win any type of beauty contest or innovation contest BUT wont fail at the job site. stock tires................ theyre straight junk that will deform quick and wont last long either its a must to upgrade those 215/75/17.5 to name brand 235/75/17.5. the deck WILL NEEED a weather treatment or it will deform in so many ways and the boards will break free i fixed mine welding flat iron where the boards meet. the tool box might develope a crack thru the thin sheet if the locking mechanism isnt cut right at production. the paint isnt great it will rust in spots so it will need recoating and lastly the back lighting position could be better if it was boxed in you will loose your lights so many times it aint funny but almost all manuf are putting them in the same place with the same results

I purchased a C&M trailer from Dan Murray(Vendor) in Temple, TX, in December. Since then, I have realized that it was not built right. The welds on this trailer are not complete, and to be honest, they look like a 5-year-old was playing with a welder. I take some responsibility for accepting this trailer in this condition, but I have since learned what to look for, especially regarding welds. I had a "Certified" welder look this trailer over and told me I would be a fool if I were to pull it out of the driveway.

Along with the welds, this trailer is less than nine months old and rusting tremendously. It has been stored in covered storage since I purchased it. There is no reason it should be rusting. However, if you see the paint job done on it, you will understand.

I was told to contact Mike Palmer(C&M Trailers) from Dan Murray. My intentions were not to write this in hopes that he would trade this trailer for one that is precisely the same. I was even willing to upgrade and pay for a pipe top after fully inspecting it, of course.

I've emailed, called, and texted for two weeks, and nobody has responded. Given that, I've succumbed, and this will be a farm trailer that won't be pulled on any roads. I would highly recommend that anybody thinking of purchasing a trailer from here seriously reconsider. I'm more than happy to send anyone all of my pictures documenting what I'm saying. Don't make the mistake of throwing away 3K like I did. There are reputable trailer builders out there!

Also, if C&M does right and contacts me with a solution, I will post an update. I never want to leave a bad review about any business, but I feel obligated to so somebody else doesn't have to go through what I'm going through.

Picked up my new 18ft C&M Utility Trailer last week from Texas Trailer Supply in Spring. Once I got it home, I looked it over and found some terrible welds and finish work. Pretty sure this was not completed by an experienced welder and should not have left the plant. Wish I would have seen it before I left the dealer. Updated 7/14/23: Mike went above and beyond to stand by his work and replaced my trailer. Thank You. Changed from 1 Star to 4 Stars.

This place is awesome. Mike and John will take care of you. I have purchased a 20 ft gooseneck and a small single axle from them. Quality is top notch and the transaction could not be easier. I emailed them told them what I needed, they gave me a price. A week later I showed up and my trailer was ready. I won’t go anywhere else for my trailer needs. Not just because of the quality and price, but because this place treats you like family. Thank you Mike and John. You guys are awesome.

Back in the day, used to purchase trailers from Mike. He had the best prices and value in the entire state. Although I was a small business owner Mike treated us like our business really mattered and got us our trailers in a timely manner. Hope to do business again soon.

Bought a tandem axle 16' trailer from a local dealer in Omaha. The trailer has a great price point. I was disappointed with how the paint shop only painted the parts of the trailer you could see. I had to buy several cans of spray paint in order to paint the metal underneath the trailer and other areas where the paint guy just skipped over because it was clearly out of sight, out of mind. Still saved money, but Q&A should be better.

Purchased form a distributor of C&M Trailer ..
Purchased a trailer and the Seller (City Wide Trailers) has not registered the trailer. I have yet to receive the title so I went to Tax / DMV offices and trailer was not registered. Just need the seller and their distributor to do the correct thing and get the paper work straighten out.
