Pizza Pete in Orland Park is hands down one of the best pizza spots around! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. The staff was super friendly, making us feel right at home.

Of course, the highlight was the pizza—perfectly thin and crispy crust, a rich and flavorful sauce, and generous toppings. We went with a classic sausage pizza, and it did not disappoint. Every bite was packed with that homemade, old-school Chicago-style flavor that’s hard to find these days.

Beyond the pizza, there were so many great things we could have done—tried their famous wings, dug into a hearty pasta dish, or even grabbed one of their sandwiches that looked incredible. We also noticed they offer some great deals, like 40% off on Mondays, which makes it even more tempting to come back.

Whether you’re dining in or taking it to go, Pizza Pete delivers on quality and taste. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like a regular from the very first visit. Can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu!

Pizza Pete in Orland Park is a true hidden gem. If you’re looking for that classic, no-frills, old-school pizza joint that just gets it right, this is the spot.

We grabbed a large thin-crust sausage pizza, and honestly, it was everything I want in a pizza—super crispy crust, just the right amount of sauce (not too sweet, not too tangy), and that perfect Chicago-style sausage that’s got a little kick to it. You can tell they’ve been doing this for a long time because every bite just hits.

Since there’s no dine-in, we took it home, and let me tell you, that car ride was pure torture because the smell alone had us drooling. By the time we got home, we were practically fighting over the first slice.

They’ve also got sandwiches, wings, pasta—so much more I want to try next time. Plus, I heard they do 40% off on Mondays, which is a steal for how good this pizza is. If you’re in the area and haven’t tried Pizza Pete yet, you’re seriously missing out. We’ll definitely be back (probably way too often).

My sister lives out here and I’ve wanted to try the pizza for years after passing it on the way out. So my expectations may have been unfairly high coming in. The pictures and reviews posted from diners looked amazing so I had high hopes.
No menu upon entering of any kind , and though the menu online said updated one day ago, it wasn’t accurate. Sausage pizza showed cheaper than cheese , odd, and prices in person were a few dollars higher than the online menu. Not a huge deal. But i’d give a strike for employees just not being personable in my opinion. Not rude but seemed almost bothered I was there, oh well. And another for not having black pepper packets. I get friendlier and more welcoming service regularly at fast food places, and felt more welcomed at the bk down the street where I went to eat my pizza.
If you go, I recommend ordering the pizza well done to match photos that have been posted. The sausage was quality, pizza came to me hot and fresh, though for me it was nothing to write home about. Dough and sauce have no flavor. If I was to come back I’d probably try non pizza options.

I took the train down here after seeing great reviews about this place. I ordered a medium, well-done thin crust with sausage and was not disappointed whatsoever!

Their thin crusts are 40% off on Mondays, making this absolutely worth giving a try in my book.

Just a 10 minute walk from the 143rd St. Metra station. I’ll certainly return here soon!

Pizza Pete's you really screwed the pooch on this day. Apparently they were serving for a fundraiser which is great but you completely ruined the day. Orders were taken 70 minutes or more and a couple people returned with incorrect orders. I waited patiently for my pizza that I received 40 minutes after the time I was told it would be ready. I get home ready for my 2 meat pizza and all I got was a veggie pizza. Total disappointment. I hate doing reviews especially bad ones but I tried to call first and hung up after 17 minutes on hold. Please get organized because your pizza is pretty good. Just not today.

Really good tasting pizzas 1st time trying, was on my pizza bucket list for years. I am a big fan of double Decker pizza and this one takes the #1 spot from Dan's. Papas pizza and bills up north. Thin Crust gets 7.2
