I've been going to Pete's since they've opened. I love it. 2 blocks from my home, always parking. Very wide variety of fresh produce, meats, seafood, dairy. Prices are high everywhere, but still save in gas since so close. Salad bar is excellent, hot food bar a great option for a night I don't have time to cook. Security and Staff have always been nice and I've never had any issues. I've left my phone on the cart before and someone returned to customer service. My family member on 2 occasions lost her wallet and another time lost keys. Both times patrons turned in to customer service. I have nothing bad to say about Pete's. I'm actually ecstatic they are opening a 2nd Pete's 1 block from my work on Madison St in Oak Park too!

I really want to give this store 5 stars , but every time I come in there are NEVER enough cashiers. The lines are so long they stretch into the aisles . Some days I genuinely want to leave whatever I grabbed behind just to avoid the wait . Otherwise I love this store and the selection of fresh produce , seasoned meats, and prepared food items . Please add more cashiers!

This location is pretty busy at times and the hot food bar seems smaller or more compact than other locations. The service was good and the products were well organized! As of 2/14/25, 18 eggs are selling for $13.

Pete's has a beautiful selection of fresh foods. You can use them to create nutritious meals from scratch, avoiding all the chemicals in highly processed foods. Or, you can get a meal to go from their delectable deli. I think Pete's is a great place to stock one's pantry and refrigerator. ENJOY!

Yesterday, I went to purchase a newspaper from here, and bought two..$6 was what I was charged, yet the paper clearly says that a Sun-Times is $2 in the city and the suburbs, and $3 everywhere else. When I pointed this out to the cashier, who didn't seem to know that "city/burbs" meant the city of Chicago and the surrounding suburbs, his response was "That's what we've always charged." So because that's what you've always charged, it's got to be right? First of all, a Sun-Times hasn't always been 2 or 3 dollars. Second, you're clearly cheating your customers. A Sun-Times is $2 in Chicago and in Oak Park and all Chicago suburbs. Stop cheating your customers.

I love Pete's fresh market. Such a wide variety of everything, including my favorite yellow watermelon 🍉 💛. I love their cheese variety, too. Such friendly and helpful staff. Prices vary like most places but overall good prices 👌 👍 🙌 👏. Parking is a breeze.

Love this Pete’s near my new home. So happy and FORTUNATE this is very close by. A bit compact as compared to the other Pete’s in the area but nevertheless same HIGH QUALITY at good prices and a LARGE selection of fresh produce which is always great. Just love love their hot bar and salad always fresh and great selections. Oh yes!!! The best part they serve two brothers coffee at the lotus cafe. Parking can be a bit of a pain during busy hours kinda reminds me of Met Market in my other favorite city 😊

+Ample parking. Fresh, wide variety of produce. Dessert selections are incredible. Juice bar. Various cheeses. Small mexican food menu with your order prepared while you wait. Hot bar, soups and salad bar with many yummy items for lunch, dinner or snacks. Breakfast selections...meh...room for improvement. -Narrow isles
Wondering if this store will stay open once new one on Madison is built and open for business?!
