5 stars. Love the huge, flavorful portions. Fav spot for won ton soup. Sometimes delivery can take a little longer bc they are a crowd favorite. 3 stars for atmosphere bc...umm...it's a grab n go kinda place. Parking lot is small and they share with nail shop and 7-11 so you may have to park on side street or Chicago Ave. I love their lo mein..just wish there were more veggies- (lunch/dinner specials) and the flat rice noodles with beef is yummy too (sm/lg order only). *Pictured is the flat noodles with beef, an egg roll and a crab ragoon.

We are both convinced this place has changed hands. The food was OK a year ago, but all but disgusting today. Unfortunately, it was Mother's Day. I ordered a small wonton soup and an egg roll. The soup had 4 wontons, a few soggy vegetables, a few slim slices or barbecue pork, and a lot of grease. The broth was all but tasteless. The eggroll was reheated so many times that the outside was like a brick and the inside had almost no filling. I was concerned I would crack a tooth. The crabby, unfriendly people behind the counter didn't invite comments or complaints. They were busy playing with their phone. The main dish was pepper steak and it was the worst we ever had. No seasoning, no ginger, and swimming in a flour-based plain brown gravy. The kind of gravy you would expect at a Waffle House, not anything Chinese. We will never go back here.

They have fell off with the food. It's not as good anymore. Last time I went which was 2weeks ago my egg roll was dried out and hard. My egg drop soup was a lumpy gravy look and it use to be a thin liquid which was good. I don't like the lumpy gravy look or taste. My fried rice was good along with with my veggie dish. I'm not sure what's going on but hopefully Number One CHOP SUEY can get back to serving better food and please stop serving old egg rolls. There are plenty of homeless people you can give it away to instead of serving it to your paying customers.

I ordered the lunch special with sweet and sour chicken the egg roll was to dark and tough the rice had no onions and a few Sprouts also dry the sweet sour chicken was doughy and salty I called back and was told the lunch specials only come with a few vegetables! I will never eat here again!

This place deserves a zero rating. No stars. I caught a parasitic infection in my mouth after consuming their shrimp-fried rice. I don’t think they’re washing their hands, but I don’t want to make false accusations. This is terrible. Please, don’t eat here.

Cheap but meh food. I would suggest Jinn's Fresh instead.

Lunch special is reasonably priced. Chicken quality is middle of the road, Fired rice is good, egg roll is flavorless.

General Tso's is sweet, like Sweet Sweet, and not spicy at all. I would consider it to be more like Orange Chicken than General Tso's.

This restaurant has been around for many years and I've been purchasing take from them for years also. The consistency and freshness are always good.

For the price is a really good deal it was inly $10 for the plate and egg rolls and it had a lot of shrimp. It does have a taste of smg but its not that big of a deal breaker
