We’ve loved renting our apartment through Andrea and Jim! Andrea is very responsive and helpful. I was locked out recently and she was there within 20 minutes! Incredible. The maintenance staff is also fantastic and responsive. Would highly recommend renting from them!

I just moved into their building in River Forest a month ago. Overall it has been a good experience. Andrea was very helpful and communicative, and overall handles a lot of the day to day communication while Jim, the owner, is handling the back end like payments and paperwork. They are a smaller company, and local to the Oak Park area. I digress, but it is nice to get away from these larger companies that are soulless and nickel and dime you to death.

The only noteworthy thing that might not be for everyone is these are older buildings and units. Aka the wood floors creak, and an older color decor and pallet in spots. That isn't for everyone, but it has character in my view. What is important is they keep the buildings in good shape. I have had no issues, and with the other tenants being there for a while tells me things are run smoothly.

Otherwise my only gripe is they don't have a recycling bin. I feel like it is an issue with Groot waste management, but I wish there was a bin since a couple tenants like myself prefer to recycle some things. Besides that, I have had no issues, and overall they are good people to work with.

Building management is quite good. They respond to issues promptly. The rent is fair and the landlord is very nice. I’ve enjoyed living in the building for more than 6 years now.

Great property, and a wonderful landlord. I lived there for 4 years and just moved out. Felt always super safe as a single mom. All repairs were done in timely manner. Appliances were replaced to improved and upgraded versions. Andrea is the sweetest. And Jim is a wonderful and reasonable landlord. I highly recommend ❤️

I never leave reviews but just had to come on here and share my experience thus far. I've worked in customer service for many years and in different industries so I know what good customer service should entail, what it should look like. For that reason (if I'm being completely transparent) I am a bit particular with any service I receive. From Day 1, the landlord/owner James (Jim) Faulkner and property manager Andrea were both great. Always gave quick responses and both very nice and personable when I met them. I knew in my line of work, it would be challenging to find time to meet for a viewing but I was pleased at how accommodating they were to my schedule.

That was way back then. To this day, I still have no complaints and only have good things to say about Jim and Andrea. They're both amazing, as is their property maintenance manager Marek. Regardless of who I reach out to, all 3 responsd in a timely manner and all requests are addressed/taken care of within 24 hours. Today, I reached out to Andrea with an urgent request. She responded immediately and arrived in less than 20 minutes of receiving my text.

One of the things I've noticed and one of the things I love most is that when they talk to you, there's not that Tenant/Acquaintance-Only awkwardness or stiffness. They're super nice and you can tell they genuinely care when they talk to you. Never once have I sensed annoyance or have been treated like I was being an inconvenience (and let's be real, even I can admit I can be a pain at times). Finding a place to live is a major decision and not something to be taken lightly. I viewed many different complexes before making a decision. Glad I chose this one.
