Hands down, best Nashville chicken sandwich IN THE WORLD.

Better than Dave’s Hot chicken. Better than Budlong. Better than all of them. I’ve tried every noteworthy sandwich in Chicagoland and nothing comes close. Yes, even better than Nashville, Tennessee’s own Hattie B’s…

Point is, if you want the best quality, great tasting sandwich you’ve ever had - get to Fry the Coop. OG Oak Lawn is my favorite, but all their locations SLAP. Seasoned fries, tenders, waffles, honey butter sandwich, Chicago sandwich with giardi, home made iced tea…everything is beyond delicious. Get down to FTC 🔥

I like to go to Nashville Hot chicken sandwich places to try their hottest sauce. I got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich - “Lil Insanity”. It’s the second hottest Nashville hot chicken sandwich I’ve had behind Hattie B’s “Shut The Cluck Up. Great flavor!

As much as I enjoyed the food in the moment, right after i ate, i got an ick feeling. Since then I have had a stomach virus, I threw it all up, and havent been able to eat real food since then without vomiting. Long story short i got food poisoning.

I wish it was slightly cheaper than it is haha, especially seeing my family eats it once a week. I love the fries! So good. My husband gets the Spicy Butter Sandwhich. I get the Nashville, my son gets tenders. All medium. I can do hot but be warned after medium the spice level really amps up. Great staff, friendly and efficient.

The line was a bit crazy but their special swaffle day was worth it. Was basically like getting the chicken and waffles for a third the price.

Anyways, while I generally find their sandwiches' chicken to be too thick, I have never been disappointed with their chicken and waffles. So savory and perfectly sweet. I'm perfectly content with mild. Their fries have so much flavor and even if their not super crispy every time I think the flavor makes up for it. It isn't cheap but I think it's worth it.

Chill vibe, fresh made food, very tasty, reasonably priced. This time we had the messy fries and tenders with Mac and cheese. It was good!!
