Phil’s Pizza in Oak Lawn has been a cherished part of our family tradition for years. Every time we visit my 80-year-old grandma, we make it a point to order their amazing sausage pizza for carry-out. My grandma absolutely loves it—it’s her favorite treat. My kids can’t get enough of it either, and I have to admit, it’s one of my favorites too. There’s something about the perfectly cooked crust, the flavorful sausage, and the rich sauce that makes every bite memorable. Bringing Phil’s pizza home feels like bringing a little bit of joy to our family gatherings. It’s more than just a meal—it’s the time we spend together, sharing stories and laughs over some of the best pizza we’ve ever had. If you’re looking for a delicious Chicago-style thin crust pizza in this area, look no further. The crispy cracker crust pairs well with the not overly-sweet sauce and the sausage had good flavor. I ordered a small, sausage thin crust for pickup and it came cooked to perfection in 25 mins. I’ve had it a few times in the past few years and each time it’s been spot on. Can’t beat the price either at $15 for a small, one topping. This place is a must-try whether you’re local or from out of town.

My first time here. I was hoping to sit down and have their pizza fresh, not knowing that it’s a take-out only. Drove 20 minutes to get home, but wow, the pizza was amazing and so hot even after all that time.
The crust holds up very well, the sauce starts off sweet with a tangy middle and a mild fennel note in the finish. Dense thick cheese without it being too cheesy. Loved it! I’m a fan now.

Ordered the breaded steak sandwich and it was absolutely horrible. It was as if somebody just threw all the pieces in there with no balance. I will never order it from them again and I may have to find a new place to order my pizzas from I have. I have been going there Since my teens and I am in my late 50s incredibly disappointing.

I’ve been ordering pizza since I moved into the area from this place, but today I found a piece of wood that looks like the end of a toothpick when I bit into a pizza slice. I called to inform the manager and this person was so rude. At no point did she apologize or provide good customer service. She insisted that I come in to show her the piece of wood (claiming it was a piece of oregano) when I called to get pizza delivered for a gathering at my house. Thankfully my kids were not the ones who bit that slice of pizza! To the disappointment to me and my family we will no longer order from this place, i work to hard to earn my money and not feel appreciated for being an honest good customer. Businesses have no respect for loyal customers now a days. What a shame.

Ordered my food. Everything else was great but does this soup look like cream of chicken..... I think not. Worker's need to slow down and read the order to get it corrected. I understand if they didn't have cream of chicken but I was never told anything.

We just moved to the area a couple of months ago and we love to try all the pizza places around and I have to say we LOVE Phil's pizza, we have placed an order every week and about to order right now!!!! Best cracker crust and cheese, just the right amount of sauce and toppings. They have converted my teenager from just cheese to cheese and sausage.

Thin crust sausage pepperoni pizza was deliciously amazing! Always on time or before promised time but always delivered hot and fresh!!! Drivers are have a great attitude and friendly which always makes the experience better.
