I've had my gas service with ilgas for many years and have never had any issues with their service. The only time I have ever encountered their workers was when they came last summer and replaced the meter, which they did in a timely and safe manner. They also made sure that my appliances had been relit for me.

I have been a Customer of Illinois Gas Company for over a Decade.

Although I have never had an Issue with my Gas Service, as Regulations Demand, Illinois Gas Company is Required to periodically replace the Meter between the Distribution Line and my Residence.

As always, a Notification is Mailed to me in advance, and I am asked to Schedule an Appointment so that the Meter can be changed...

Both Occasions that This has been done, the Dispatchers have handled my call in a Professional manner, and the Service Men arrived on Time and Well Prepared.

Much like any Utility, we often take the Services Provided for Granted... indeed, when I worked at GTE and Verizon we were Schooled in the Art of Invisiblility and that We actually wanted for Customers to not have any Cause to Notice our Work.

Illinois Gas Company is no different in that regard, and They Excell at it.

Also, Illinois Gas works to keep us Informed by providing pamphlets providing useful Educational Instructions that Everyone should read so We Remain Safe in the Event there's a Mishap or We notice something unusual.

This Proactive Approach, along with the Professionalism of the People that I have Encountered that Work for Illinois Gas Company is the Reason why I have given Illinois Gas Company a Five Star Rating.

I have 3 children and take care of all of them alone now! i had their mother staying with me for a couple weeks for childcare while i worked. she no longer stays with me, but the Illinoise Gas Company shut off my gas the same day i had it changed into my name! Every bill and the lease are all in my name because I support my children! So, now even though she has no ties to my household and I can prove it with my lease and copies of all my other bills, they will not turn on my gas until she pays the $350 that she owes from 10 years ago! Now, I have 3 children from 18 months to 12 years old and none of us can take hot showers and I cant cook them dinner on my gas stove , all because someone we dont have contact with anymore owes the gas company money!!! This is so so so so wrong!!!! Something has do be done about it! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE for my kids!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can go into the city hall and pay the water bill but you can't go into the Gas company to pay due to "Covid". They want you to pay extra and pay online.
