I ate here. I only got a couple of items . Nothing out of this world, but the Chicago dog was great 👍🏼
I tried the gyro beef/lamb , It was not what I was expecting. I ate a Chicago Dog , man. I wish I could have ordered like 3 of them . That's how good it was .
If you have a chance to go to this place, try the Chicago Dog. I recommend it 👍🏼

Ever hear of Johnny's beef on North avenue? This is the only beef I've ever had that competes with them. Most other places don't even come close. I liked it because they have what I suspect is butter on the bread that they toast before adding the beef and dipping it. Very good. Price is very reasonable. Drive through was quicker than most places are that serve this kind of food.

Wet Italian beef was super juicy, and you can taste the spices (might be spicy for some). Definitely, I will be having it again. The chicken sandwich was good, and even though it was grilled, it was juicy. The cheese burger was big and cooked to perfection. The hotdog was the only thing none of us cared for because it was made with sweet relish.

Gyros plate is bland. Very little condiments for the amount of meat you get. Side salad had no dressing. Chili is very salty, and the fries have no salt. Cheeseburger is bland as well. Overall, it was a poor experience. First and last time here.

The service is terrible, very snippy when I ordered and not much better when I was finally given more food. The most disappointing thing was the “big bowl” was only half full. Was still hungry when I finished it. There is no contact information in the website so I couldn’t contact anyone about the inadequate meal I received.

The first time I was eating at Skippys it was very good. The fireplace outside will be nice to try in the fall. It's just way too hot these days to sit outside. I'm not a big fan of the soda machines that dispenses all the different out of the same nozzle. I have never had a good tasting soda from one of these machines. It's a great looking machine, but what came out tasted nothing like Cherry Pepsi. I know they take up less space, but sacrificing taste isn't the way to go

Nice Greek restaurant at the corner of midwest road and Butterfield road. There is plenty of parking here.
They have a drive thru too.
Service is pretty fast.
Several sitting booths seemed a little cramped.
It was pretty cold in the restaurant too.
There was only one trash box by the entrance, wish they had some more.

Found this gem after not having Zippys for over 20 years (since Hoffman Estates location). Not a disappointment!! Cheezy Beef on garlic was phenomenal!! Customer service was excellent, quick and friendly.
