Food tastes great, service is really nice, but the portion sizes are too small for the price they charge. Mango lassi is delicious and the samosas with the sause are one of my favourites, having the right amount of spicy and sour. Inside it is cleand and newly remodeled.
Would recommend this place.

This is a great gem of an Indian restaurant in Chicago and surprisngly its not located in Rogers Park or off Devon Ave!

Nestled in the Ravenswood neighborhood, this restaurant serves up authentic Indian cuisine and also a bit of Indian-Asian fusion. The chicken and lamb biryani over here is a must have and one of my favorite Biryanis in the Chicagoland area. Get it regular spicy if you're not a wuss! Its the best way to enjoy it and not really that spicy.

One of my other favorites here is the Chicken Madras which seems similar to a Butter Chicken visually but what makes it special is the addition of coconut cream which adds a very subtle coconut taste to this beautiful aromatic, bright and saucy chicken dish.

The portions here are great. We were 3 people and 2 dishes were more than enough but definitely make sure to order plenty of garlic naan for the saucy dishes!

The interior of the restaurant is quaint, cozy and has warm inviting colors and Indian decor. The service here is very good as well.

Overall you MUST try this restaurant. Theres a reason why when you walk in you'll see tens of different orders lined up on tables ready to be picked up! People love this place!

Indian Clay pot is my favorite Indian food in the city. They have an amazing menu with a gargantuan span of spectacular and flavorful options. I have not had a dish here that I have not loved and every friend I have shared food with here has felt the same.

The flavors here rich and deep. They have a variety of spice levels for food and many kinds of naan to choose from. I usually start with one of their varieties of samosa but they have lots of appetizer options. The herb paneer and mushroom masala was great but tried a bite of my friends lamb tikka masala and honestly it was the best dish at the table. I am eager to try more dishes.

I will continue to come back and also when I ordered for delivery in the past, the food was still great. I highly recommend this place and hope you love it as much as I have.

I'm not a huge fan of Indian cuisine, but I really do like the food here. Most staff are quite friendly and the service is quick. The lunch buffet is well-stocked with great choices and flavors, as well.

Indian Clay Pot is UNREAL. I’ve had a wide variety of their vegetarian options, since everything I’ve had has been delicious. They really keep me coming back for more! The paneer curry, daal, chana masala, and samosas are among my faves. The naan is usually pretty good, but I have ordered it for delivery and had it come a bit dry. Despite the texture, the naan is a great way to carry the flavors, textures, and delicious spices to your mouth. The onion naan is pretty sweet, while the garlic one is pretty neutral. The rice is also great and saves well - I usually get a meal or two with rice and naan and it lasts like 3 meals for me. I usually get it delivery, which is organized and really remarkably fresh. I’ve also eaten in, which was lovely! The food came out as it was ready, which is a great perk. Ive eaten a lot of Indian food and this is my fave spot in chicago. Check it out - you won’t regret it.

Really great Indian food! It wasn't as spicy as I expected unfortunately, so you might need to ask for it to be spicier(if that's what you want). Otherwise the flavors were incredible. We had the chicken 65, chili cauliflower, garlic naan and lamb vindaloo. Each were delicious in their own way: if I had to choose one I definitely would've gotten the lamb vindaloo again... Just with a bit more spice!

Food comes out super fast here and service is great so you won't need to worry about waiting too long!

This placed served good food, chicken biryani tasted good. We've tried so many biryanis from Devon and I would say this one has the best. Made our chicken Tikka spicy like we wanted. Great customer service, good music. Don't ask for spicy if you can't handle it.

The front of house staff was wonderful as far as takeout experiences go, accommodating, kind, and friendly. The food on the other hand left something to be desired. Ordered the Butter Chicken which was not unappetizing, but the chicken was very dry, and not as flavorful, nor as spicy as I personally would have preferred if given the option. The garlic naan on the other hand was so chewy as to be nearly inedible. Flat, dense, dry, with minimal char and minimal herbs. Both were wildly disappointing for the price. The lamb samosas were excellent, the saving grace of my meal.
