Experience with Redwood last 3 weeks has been nothing short of a nightmare. Forced layover at delivery for over 24 hours. Booked 2 loads for my driver. First load was double booked leaving my driver stranded at 10 pm. Next day they offered to help by giving us another load at noon. My driver waited 6 hours on Friday 14th only to be told no load existed. Had to bring my driver home empty to Pa from Chicago. Compensation. Non existant. Do not book loads with these people. Bad brokers

Alex Sanborn is a broker that will sell you the load and will not pay detention on it. He sold a load at 1pm with the appointment for 11 am., and then denied detention at shipper because it was a work in, he didn't say that though before booking it.
3 stars only because I know good brokers with this brokerage, but this guy will simply sell you the load and will ignore the detention requests.

If you’re a customer.. take your business elsewhere. If your a driver or carrier, just stay away!! They’ll waste your time and pull you off loads last minute at the end of the day. Way to many companies worth working with rather than wasting your time with these guys!! Bad business.

Don't deal with those people, they won't answer emails or calls if there's a problem. I've been stuck for two days trying to get a hold of someone because I've had one pallet overage on my trailer. They won't answer in the hopes the driver is going to get angry and throw the product away so they can make a claim through cargo insurance. They are a total scam and I certainly won't haul another load for redwood logistics. That's for nothing useless redwood logistics

This Redwood Multimodal Broker Company out of Chicago, Illinois SUCKS!!!.
Called on a load they had listed on the DAT Board, completed broker packet, sent COI, W-9 etc. Everything on the Carrier side is upto date with an excellent CSA Score.
After an hour of making us wait...they decided to not let Blue Dawg Trucking LLC take their load from Neenah, WI to Norcross, GA, because we haven't done this lane for them before. No other reason given at all!!!
Please....DO NOT EVER...Trust this company or do any work for them.😡😡😡

STAY AWAY FROM THIS BROKER!!!
We booked a load with Jorge Loza, and after the forklift damaged boxes at the delivery location, we informed him straight away.

Then we waited for him and his customer to make a decision on what to do with the damaged product for 31 hours.

Finally, they decided to return everything to the shipper, but they refused to pay anything to the driver because he could not deliver that product on the next day. Also, they are threatening us with the claim, even though we did everything per the rate confirmation.

Horrible experience, one of the worst brokers on the market!

Stay away from these guys, they will laugh at you, let you down, and wont pay detention, layover or anything related, even if you got all you need to request it, Dealing with them is just a waste of time and money.
