Been here for almost 3 months on their Morton salt dedicated, best place to work for by far! Working with my recruiter from the beginning, to working with my account manager, safety, and shop now, everyone I’ve talked to has a positive attitude and makes you feel like an individual instead of a number, Christian values a huge plus, awesome equipment they keep up on, great pay, decent miles with a guaranteed minimum if you have weeks where you don’t get a lot of miles(happens to me often being on a 3 state dedicated) I plan on being here the rest of my career!

Update: it’s been over a year on the account and still loving it! They stay true to everything they say!

Forget everything you know about trucking companies. This company is different! From the moment you step through the doors, you will instantly know Nussbaum is one of a kind. They believe in putting drivers first and it shows in everything they do. From the equipment, to the pay, to the way they involve and treat us, you will feel it from Day 1. The pay structure you will not find anywhere else. You literally get paid for everything you do. There is your base pay but on top of that there are so many other things you get paid for. Things that you would and should be doing anyway. Like delivery/pickup and just being a safe driver. I can go on and on about this company but you really won’t understand or believe it until you see it for yourself. It’s a faith based company but you don’t have to be religious to work here. I’m not. Just be a good person and want to do better for yourself and your company and you’ll fit in. Working in this environment makes me want to work harder and be a better person. Definitely one of the best companies I’ve worked for!

I am writing a complaint about a hiring manager that I was mislead by. I had been speaking with him on and off for about 3 weeks with no issues and I was understanding about how busy he could be and that things take time. I had even asked to talk to a different hiring manager to no avail. I had gotten responses on and off for 2 weeks, but in the middle of the second week, I was no longer getting responses, so I had reapplied hoping to get a different hiring manager, but had gotten a reply back from him apologizing. We had talked some more for 3-4 days on and off to which he tried to set a phone call up, but I had been busy and replied a bit later apologizing and seeing if he was still available. I hadn’t received a response and was available that day, so I sent another email letting him know I was available whenever he was that day, or if we could schedule something. A day or two went by and still no response, which is when I had asked to speak to another hiring manager because I understand he is quite busy. No response for almost a month since that conversation, which lead me to emailing him today, a bit upset and unprofessional, but I still composed myself a bit, to which he said my emails must have been sent to junk after having no issues the entire time of talking, which is hard to believe 3 emails got sent to junk, but say I was still to believe that, I feel like I should’ve still been contacted by him asking if I was still interested in the position or even notifying me that the position had been filled. I am very upset by this and feel like I have lost a huge opportunity because of him. I am only writing this because I do not want things to be one sided if I do try and find a career with this corporation. I did not appreciate being mislead, because the way he had made it sound was as if he was going to help me further a career with this company.

Fantastic company. The drivers aren’t just a number. It’s a very family oriented company and they truly deliver what they promise. A lot of trucking companies tell you anything to get you in the door then throw you out. This is NOT who Nussbaum is. Such a great company! Very honored to work with such an awesome group of people!

I am so happy to work for Nussbaum. Now I am eager to hop in the truck and go. It just feels great. Compared to my last job, I have lots of home time now. I go 2 days one week and 3 days the next and nice normal 2 day weekend, actually it amounts to nearly 3 days if you count the hours from stop to start with the truck. Home family time is extremely important to me and Nussbaum makes that possible. So, with all the extra time now, I am always happy to help out filling in for another driver when needed. That's what I love about Nussbaum, we all look out for each other. Great people, great communication and great purpose. Now I have a nice steady income and our bank account has been growing back up every week since I started with Nussbaum.

I will be pleased to work for Nussbaum for as long as they will have me. And when the time comes, I would be honored to eventually retire as a Nussbaum driver. Thank you Nussbaum and may God bless you.
