The personnel have all been super helpful and easy to work with. I am much more pleased with the climate control units than the standard one I have. I currently have 3 units.A discount would be so appreciated, especially since I’m looking at the potential of renting a forth unit.

My wife and I needed secure climate controlled storage before we could move to the Anniston, AL area. Living in Florida, we searched on line for the size and price. Pilot was a good option and it had some good reviews. Growing up there, I knew the area and we picked the unit and signed the contract. That was in April, this is June. We were there with a U Haul trailer full this past weekend.
After driving around and making several calls, we zeroed in on the exact location. Signs would have helped, there were none. I asked the gentleman next door and he knew, thankfully!!
We finally got into the building we had been paying for with added insurance, and the unit was NOT THERE!!!!
It seems they needed a hallway to expand the facility. Where do we put our belongings? There was no correspondence with us on this new arrangement. No office, no manager, no one on site, still in the business hours of Friday afternoon.
I finally got in touch with Charles, I guess he's one of the few operators who cover the area. He couldn't believe it, I sent him the pictures. We found another smaller unit that didn't have a lock on it and put our belongings there. It fit, barely.
Now I get a statement where I owe for the smaller unit and the one no longer there.
WHY AM I PAYING FOR A HALLWAY

We have had a good experience with Leatherwood Self Storage. The reservation system was streamlined and easy to use, and we have had really good customer service through the call center. The property is gated and has security cameras everywhere. In addition, whenever we have come at night, the lighting is really bright which is a big plus. The unit keeps our stuff dry and safe! I don't know what else you could ask for in a storage unit! Thanks for the great service.

They have raised the price twice in the year that we have been with them and i don't understand why because they do not provide a clean area (always junk laying out by someones unit) and i have not seen any sort of improvements to the facilities that would warrant the constant price increases. We are looking for a new storage place now because this is ridiculous. It's difficult to get answers and no one seems to care when you call to try and find out why so don't waste your time. This place is subpar at best and with what they charge now i could get a climate controlled unit with cleaner facilities and better security.

Update: what do building materials have to do with my unit price being upped twice in less than a year!? I understand that inflation has hit everyone hard but for you to send us a notice less than two weeks before christmas that you are raising the price of our unit YET AGAIN was the final straw. I will let everyone I know to avoid your business.

Leatherwood Storage is a great facility with indoor and outdoor options. They also have climate control units, with security, to meet your needs. The owner is a great person, and you will be happy with their services.
