Local business with the best prices I found in Citrus County. They had the part I needed in stock. Not only was the part in stock, they were very helpful with insight and expertise related to the issue I was dealing with.

Yes, the cost of the item was a just a bit more than Amazon, but like I said, local business. Support Citrus County, support your local business. Meet the people that you are doing business with, talk to them, support them. It goes a long way in helping the community. Remember, these folks live here, the spend their money here, they pay taxes here. You're not supporting some big corporation that has no connection to Citrus County, and frankly could care less about you.

After fighting to clear my pool of algae and cloudiness for a month following the guidance of another (chain store) pool professional I heard good things about John and Back Yard Pool and Spa so I gave them a try, after 2 days following his advice my pool has never been more clear and inviting. I payed cash for the 3 month service with vacuum , my pool was never clean , the same dead spider was on the bottom for over a month , trying to get somebody on the phone from that place is near impossible , the only time I got a response is when i sent an email to cancel service and I got a reply asking why , when I sent pictures of my dirty pool , of course I got no reply , absolute rip off of 4 hundred dollars

I have been meaning to get this review out for some time. I am so happy to have found John. I was having a major issue with my chlorine levels this past summer/fall. It took a while to troubleshoot and through process of elimination John pinpointed what was wrong and resolved. Every time I go into the store he gives you his full attention. As a new pool owner it is very reassuring to have someone you can count on with his level of expertise and patience. Thanks John!

Whoa! Is this stuff even legal?
I was softwashing a roof for a friend and needed a chlorine refill. I was worried about potency as I dropped in right before closing. I liked that the jug was filled right in front of me rather than exchanged for a pre-filled one that had been sitting. The difference was immediately noticeable when I resumed washing, compared to another refill I got from one of the "penny" stores. Much stronger! The gentleman who helped me was also super kind. Wish I lived closer so I could get all my refills here!
