First time to the Dog Park. Good run for the pups!
Update: we have stopped taking our dogs here. It seemed that they got sick after running around the park. Unfortunately, we noticed that some dog owners were not picking up their dog's "pooh" and were just leaving it on the ground. This is a shame as our dogs really enjoyed going there.

Great community! This is community is full of wildlife and is a bird sanctuary. Anyone who does not like wildlife and wooded areas with natural flora should consider this. If you plan to build a home, a suggestion would be to please make sure you physically oversee the clearing of your lot. Lately, many contractors have been scalping and clear cutting the lots taking down the wildlife and mature older grandaddy oaks and long leaf pine trees among all the others, for their building convenience, because it’s easier, it’s not theirs, and it’s a clean slate for them to build. It takes a long time for trees to grow here, it’s not like up north. Make the builders work around trees. The wildlife is a precious asset to this community. There are many federally and state protected species such as fox squirrels, gopher tortoise, snakes, toads, burrowing owls, woodpeckers, songbirds, raptors, salamanders, and more. Leave as many trees and natural flora as possible. Stands of trees and natural flora are also a wind-breaker per Univ of Fl and the shade is like 20 degrees cooler. A hidden home behind trees is the character of this community, not to mention stats show these homes have much higher value, higher sellable increase in return, and much more equity in the end, than a home on a scalped lot with added fake landscaping.

I love it here. It’s morning. I’m drinking coffee and listening to the birds. No other noises. I can smell breakfast in the distance, bacon smells great in the morning. The HOA ladies have always been so sweet and helpful. These days it’s hard to find a good place like this. So please keep this to yourself. Shhhhhh let’s keep it this way. Thanks for being so beautiful.

Great community. Hope anyone who considers moving here respects our wildlife by leaving as many trees as possible on their property. Pine Ridge is unique in that a property owner can legally practice shooting a firearm on their property. We can keep boats and campers on our property.
So anyone who doesn't like a wooded community that loves all the wildlife take that into consideration. Presently we have a great board of directors running the Pine Ridge Homeowners Association.

Beautiful area to live in. Beautiful barns and pasture area, the upkeep of the park for children is wonderful as well as the tennis courts. All around this is a wonderful place and I have and will continue to highly recommend it.

Why I will vote NO on the Oct 2021 revised cc&r's
When I requested clarification on one of the changes, I was given the following answer, quote " As for New CC&R’s there has not been a document approved as of this date. Therefore, I am unable to speak to your questions about this matter."

I asked a specific question, and was given a run-around. If this is how the association answers our inquiries, maybe we need a new manager.
I love the area, the neighbors and the quiet. But, this is totally unacceptable!
Power is a dangerous thing. In the wrong hands it can slowly strangle a community. A board or manager that refuses to answer a very specific question, can not be tolerated, not for a single second!

Who gives you the right to harrass people? The fees you collect from each and every homeowner is to maintain the subdivision not to take people to court for rescuing poor, defenseless animals. You all should be ashamed of yourselves for what you are doing to Rosa who rescues these animals. She didn't ask you to bring a lawsuit against her, so why should she have to pay your attorney fees...SHAME ON YOU ALL!!! You all will have to answer to God on judgement day for your uncompassionate hearts and minds!!!
