Honestly if I could put zero stars, I really would. I donāt even know where to start with all of this. When I first came in saying I wanted a rental, the āownerā was taking care of us and had the WORST customer service ever! Attitude all the way, didnāt care how he spoke to me and my boyfriend, and would even talk down to other women that came in with an attitude. I had put my boyfriend down as an emergency contact and they refused to let us have a rental bc he owed an āoutstanding balanceā due to a accident that happened a YEAR AGO and was told he is āgood and doesnāt owe nothingā basically waited a whole year to tell us he owed them $150 all of the sudden. Keep this mind we are both young adults, trying to start our lives, and in the process of moving. $150 is a lot to ask for when we are trying to make our ends meet. Why wait a whole year to say he owed something? Or even worse lie to him and said heās good, doesnāt have to owe anything, and say it wonāt be coming back up to ābite us back in the assā. Like I said before, the worst thing about this was really the owner having horrible costumer service and just talking to us like we are stupid. We highly donāt appreciate it and wish we would of picked a different company. Ontop of that, the owner took a whole hour of our time and instead of extending the hour he wasted, we felt pressure to still return it at the original time we had (which made us have almost 2 hours with the truck, not 3-4). Nobody should leave a company upset or pressure trying to get business done. Hopefully itās better next time but I do know for sure, I would like to see if thereās another truck company I can work with. Which sucks bc ever since I was a little girl with my family, we would ALWAYS use u-haul. Maybe change the owner of the u-haul we went too or take him to a class to have better costumer service skills.
