After the sale of our house, Craters & Freighters packed, crated and shipped nearly 2,000 lbs of household goods (including 3 pieces of furniture) to our Delaware home. The packing was first rate, with extreme special attention given to fragile collectibles, china, glassware and art work. The load was delivered at the promised date. The job was n doubt more expensive than if I had done it myself using PODs, but the substantialy reduced anxiety on my part was worth every penny. Thanks, Gary and your entire crew

After our father's death, my family needed several pieces of fine art and sculpture shipped to 5 locations around the country. We found Craters and Freighters online and they quickly provided an estimate over the phone. The customer service was excellent, they handled each piece with the utmost of care and the crates were built incredibly well. Everything arrived safely and on time. While the pricing seemed high as compared with "conventional" shipping providers it was worth it. I would recommend this organization for those irreplaceable heirlooms and/or high value pieces that require the extra touch.

I recently needed to transport a number of valuable paintings and decorative art objects from Sarasota to New York and contacted John Koepke of Craters & Freighters, SW Florida. After meeting with him and discussing packing and shipping details, I decided to entrust him with the collection. Shipping fine art requires a great deal of care. John kept me well informed as to progress and everything arrived safely and in good condition. The crew on the New York end did a fine job as well. I am pleased to recommend Craters and Freighters.

I was referred to C&F by my nephew, who works for a major TV network, where the curator of their memorabilia archives uses C&F for all their delicate shipments.
My problem was how do I relocate our family heirloom, a 4-foot-long and very delicate model sailing ship hand made by my grandfather in 1934, from Florida to Colorado.
From the first conversation with Gary McKinley, of the Coral Gable office, I knew I found the right person and company to handle our treasured family heirloom. Gary took total and personal control of my shipment and laid out every step and detail of the process and documented everything with pictures. He explained how he was going to pick up and transport the boat to their crating facility, the detail and care required to remove the model from the glass case and secure it in a custom-built wood crate. A special truck was needed to ensure a smooth cross-country trip. This would also include the cross-country tracking through some of the worse winter storms of the century.
Our treasure arrived safely at the C&F office of N. Colorado and the phenomenal service continued with keeping me informed of its arrival, condition and scheduling the delivery to my home. I had a need to call the office in Broomfield CO and gave my name to the person answering the phone and their immediate response was “You must be calling about your model boat,” which made me feel like my shipment was the most important one in their facility.
Delivery day came and went without a problem. Jason Garner, who was responsible for the delivery told me he understood the emotion and importance of our heirloom but today nobody cared more about the safety of our boat than he did. When it came time to remove the boat from the custom crate and return it to the glass case, they actually put on white gloves!
To say I am happy with Craters & Freighters would be an understatement. I have not experienced this level of attention to detail and customer service in any company for many years. I would, without hesitation, highly recommend Craters & Freighters in general and specifically, Gary McKinley of SW Florida and Jason Garner of N. Colorado.
