"Amazon MIA1 is the clear example of how a company can be at the same time one of the best and one of the worst. On the one hand, its logistics system is impressive, with an operational efficiency that moves millions of products daily. But behind that well-oiled machinery, there is a reality that few want to admit: extreme working conditions, excessive pressure and an environment where productivity is worth more than the health of workers. In my experience, I saw how medical restrictions were ignored, how harassment became part of the routine and how complaints simply disappeared without response. Amazon has changed the economy and the trade industry, but the human cost behind its success remains a shadow that cannot be ignored."

The load is a waste of time I usually the guard shack keeps me waiting for a load to be pick up at the departure time. Also they should fix the entrance and exit guard shack to prevent a backing preventable accident these truckers coming in too fast . Like what happened to my self another trucker hit my truck @ 3:17 am while I was backing in. But these unprofessional guard shack thought other wise.

I made time for a tour of the facility, and it was disappointing. Guide was absent-minded, spoke poor English, and presented very elementary understanding of the Amazon business. Also, she acted confused, kept forgetting the name of her co-worker multiple times, so it appeared like she was doing it for the first time, though other telltale signs indicated otherwise. The elementary requirements were not clarified first, so another customer was sent back to leave her purse in the parking lot late in the setup process. When unable to respond to a question, the guide referred instead to her manager, who appeared at the end and attempted to respond without understanding the question first. The manager did not verify whether the answer was satisfactory. Then, the manager switched to Spanish language, with no-one translating it, which was rude.
I tend to visit many workplaces, so I have some comparison. What I saw and heard in this facility, along with the palpable tension between the guide and the "ambassadors," and their behavior, as well as the view in the common spaces, particularly the corridor full of empty "5K" achievement plates, and the "Affinity" allegiance boards, told me this is one of those rare, really miserable places to work, full of insensitivity and unresolved tensions.
SE Florida is a difficult place to source a competent workforce, but a tour such like this should not showcase it. If you really cannot find anyone who speaks and understands English while actually having some knowledge about Amazon and the facility, just make it a recorded tour, like pre-recorded bus tours common in large cities.

To Amazon management of this location, you need to check your horrible guard shack delay every time

Around 2 years ago I make a review saying great things about this Amazon. But just two day ago I was there and man I was completely shocked 😳. Drivers lounge bathroom is disgusting 🤢 please people do something about it. We the truck drivers some times do not have even time to piss. That is the only moment to do it. But in a restroom on that conditions we don’t deserve that.. we work very hard like all of you Amazon employees. PLEASE CLEAN THAT RESTROOM 🚽!! ASAP 🙌🙌

Terrible. Management doesn’t care about their associates . Mental and verbal abuse. Worst site I’ve worked at. Expect to be hurt, expect for them not to care. Many people here now need surgery from their injuries . Don’t believe me, please join the club. You’re more than welcome to just as long as you keep the numbers up and keep quiet . Most disrespectful group of individuals I have ever sadly encountered .
