I have bought a lot of bark, dirt, and gravel from here. The last yard of gravel I got was almost half dirt, when he scooped it up he dug into the ground under the gravel. Have always been happy with my purchase, not this time, it was 450lbs under what they said it should have weighed. I'm guessing the dirt is much lighter.

CVT to the rescue! To preface this story I had posted an 1 star review about 2 years ago due to an unrelated yet similarly impactful issue. I ordered sand from sierra materials yesterday (12-21-23) to be delivered this morning. The owner of sierra materials comes out in a pickup truck this morning to check if they can dump on the soil (we had rain 2 days ago) the owner said the soil was too wet to dump on (this is Atwater sand). I came out to the site and did a squeeze ball soil test and the soil was too dry to form a solid ball without crumbling. Their next excuse was that it’s on a county easement. When I asked them to just dump it on the front lawn they said they no longer had any trucks available. I love supporting small businesses and was ok with the higher cost of materials at sierra materials, but this unprofessional behavior is extremely disappointing. On top of this the cvt dump truck driver looked at me sideways when I asked him if this soil was too wet to dump on. Unfortunately this company has let me down too many times to give them another chance.

Awesome and reasonably priced. If you want rock to put in your yard, they have all sizes and colors. Many on display in the office. You pick up or they will deliver at a price. Customer person attending office was friendly, polite and very helpful. She was very knowledgeable. Recommend

I needed ground cover rocks to refurbish my yard. I worked with Katie and Joe to get several loads in my pickup. Very friendly and accommodating. Used my pickup for 7 loads and never had any wait time to get the new load. If I need any more landscaping materials I will definitely use this company.

Ordered topsoil a week in advance as I am renovating my lawn. Was told it would be delivered between 8am and 10am Wednesday. I called day of delivery to confirm the time and was informed that their driver doesn't arrive until 9am and should be at my home by 10am. The rep on the phone also said he would call when they are heading out.

Unfortunately no call was given and delivery has yet to show. I called around 11am to see status of delivery and was told that it hasn't been loaded up. I asked to cancel the delivery.

Very unprofessional they were given a week in advance to get the order ready and delivered in the timeframe they set and yet still failed. I wanted to support a local business but I will have to go elsewhere for my renovation needs.

Always helpful and great pricing. I take my trailer and have 1/2 yard loads of pea gravel for half the cost of what others are charging.

The owner said he was going to order slate chips weather i payed now or later. 2 months later still nothing I’ve called several times between the wait and was finally told today there is a minimum of 10 yards that has to be payed for in advance. Which is not what the owner said. I hand asked to speak with him and the gentleman I was speaking with said I’ll have to catch him when he’s in. very poor service and unprofessional.
