I hired Elite Anywhere to receive and deliver a custom sectional sofa to my high-rise apartment. What followed was months of chaos that I wouldn't wish on anyone.

Like others, I paid for their "white glove" service, including a pre-delivery site check where they assured me everything would work perfectly. The problems began when they attempted their first delivery without confirming my availability, showing up while I was at work. They then tried to charge me a rescheduling fee for their mistake.

Their communication is baffling - different representatives would give contradictory information, scheduled deliveries would be changed last minute, and emails would go unanswered for weeks.

After many months, countless hours wasted, and seeing them make the same mistakes repeatedly, I ended up hiring a local delivery company to pick up my sofa from their warehouse (which they charged me another fee for). The new company delivered and installed everything perfectly in under 2 hours.

Damaged Furniture and Failed to Deliver

We hired Elite Anywhere to deliver and install an furniture to our condo. Despite saying before the contract was signed they could meet the COI requirements and us paying for a site survey cost of over a $100 where they confirmed everything would fit, they've been unable to complete the delivery after multiple attempts over 6+ months.

The issues started when they first attempted delivery in June. The delivery crew arrived and damaged our furniture but left without properly communicating with us about needing help, even though we were available to assist. They then tried to charge us additional fees for a second delivery attempt.

Communication has been consistently poor - they've attempted deliveries outside of confirmed time windows, failed to coordinate properly with building management about required insurance (COI), and made delivery attempts without confirming our availability. They also tried to retroactively charge storage fees after previously agreeing to waive them.

After 6+ months, over a $1000, and countless emails and phone calls, we still don't have our furniture properly delivered and installed. I would strongly recommend avoiding this company if you need delivery or installation services. The experience has been nothing but headaches and broken promises.

Had to move an antique dining set to my new home, and Elite Anywhere turned what should have been a simple process into a 4-month nightmare.

The red flags started early. They initially quoted one price, then kept adding fees - first for "specialty handling" of antiques (which was mentioned in my original request), then for storage when they couldn't get their act together for delivery. Their "elite" service consisted of missed appointments, unreturned calls, and constant excuses.

The worst part? After charging premium rates for their supposed expertise with antique furniture, they damaged one of the chairs during an attempted delivery because they didn't bring enough people for the job. When I pointed out the damage, they claimed it must have been pre-existing, even though we have photos from their own receiving inspection showing otherwise.

The scheduling department seems to operate in a parallel universe where customer availability doesn't matter. They'd confirm one time window, then show up hours earlier or later, or sometimes not at all. Each time, a different representative would give a different excuse and contradict what others had told me.

After my furniture sitting in their warehouse accruing storage fees, I finally had to hire another company to retrieve everything. Of course, Elite Anywhere charged me a "pull fee" for that privilege.

Pros:

- Unprofessional handling of antiques
- Damaged items without taking responsibility
- Constant hidden fees
- Terrible scheduling practices
- Insurance coverage issues
- Poor communication between departments
- Zero accountability

Save yourself months of frustration and find a company that actually delivers on their promises. "Elite" is just a word in their name, not a description of their service.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

I am updating my review based on six week negotiations and settlement with escalations team. It was initially 1 star based only on my move experience and initial poor sales of products like valuation that did not cover me based on the conditions of my particular move. Although the move was not smooth and my client sustained damages totalling over $5K they followed up and addressed part of the issue and offered a partial credit after careful review of all the facts. This is a testament to the quality of the customer service of their escalations and management team. I wish that their coordination and transparency from quoting to truck loading to delivery was more integrated so that I did not have the issue in the first place. Unfortunately, when they split my trailer from NY to SF into 2 trucks the local delivery loaded items haphazardly and nothing was secured or strapped to the sides of the truck. The inventory changed hands too many times and the crew was negligent in handling it causing damages that ranged from broken millwork edges and corners resulting from negligence in handling large pieces with 1 person and stacking boxes on top of mirrors and glass that was clearly marked fragile and told repeatedly not to do so. The team under estimated the time to make the delivery and had to come back on a second day. In one instance they uncrated a piece lifted in improperly bent a metal tray table and the tired to re wrap and tape it and then when we pointed out it was damaged claimed that it was concealed damage even though they had already taped it with tape saying Elite on it. Although I will not use them again, if you’re considering using them I would ask to speak with Aissa and Robert if you want to have an accurate understanding of all costs, the way a move operates from point to point, and what will or will not be covered with insurance. It will require a lot of (micro) management on the end of the designer, so be prepared to get into the weeds on their operations if you want things to run smoothly for you.

The table is exactly what I wanted.

I was helped by Bertin and Jose Martinez from Elite Anywhere. And they went above and beyond to help assemble my bed. They were very punctual, friendly, and courteous. After assembling my bed they even helped with my mattress. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for their services.
