This campground is truly the best in Fort Bragg. The owner comes out to introduce himself. They bring you firewood and help you start your first fire for free. Big trash cans at each site, and they come empty them each morning. Nice, clean, friendly, couldn’t ask for more! We will definitely be coming back!!

We had a wonderful family camping trip. Wildwood Campground is beautiful and peaceful. The camp owners and camp host quickly became our friends. Very attentive to our needs while at the same time gave us our space to explore and enjoy our time together as a family. Definitely will be back many more times.

By far the most hospitable camp hosts we have had the pleasure of staying with. Beautiful campground that is nicely kept and with consistent and clean facilities, would 100% recommend to anyone traveling to the fort Bragg/ Mendocino area. It was a pleasure getting to know the owners, they’re super friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to come back!

What an amazing place to stay! Kay and Travis are just the nicest, most amazing people. we pulled in late and Travis hooked us up, backed us in and started our fire for us. The owner Kay is an awesome lady and will be a lifetime friend. This is just an absolutely beautiful Park and we will be back for sure. Thanks so much for the amazing experience.

¡¡DISCOVERY!! Camping in the magical redwoods. Walks in the woods, Mendocino Coast & Fort Bragg 4 miles away. Pick and choose what your vibe is telling you. . .
Travis & Kay are super helpful, rare to find such hospitality. Enjoy.

It’s a campground, not a hotel. Instead of rooms, there are sites with picnic tables and fire pits. The sites are pleasantly rustic, surrounded by redwood trees and quiet. There are, strangely, an abundance of cats, but they keep to themselves and go where they will. We were told there could be bears, but they’re not interested in people unless maybe if you leave food out. The only creature we saw was a banana slug. The owners were very nice and helpful.

Great place! The service was great, and it's near Glass Beach! The campsites were really good and the trail was beautiful! Led to a little pond, which was totally worth it. The staff was kind and welcoming. Nearby, there's a place that sells wood for less that 10 dollars! Although it was cold, it wasn't for long. The fire was easy to start and the restrooms were clean. I highly recommend here

It didn’t take long for Wildwood Campground & RV Resort to become a new family favorite! I’ll admit, we were all a little leery after reading some of the older reviews, but our large family group with 4 trailers are thrilled we took a chance! From reservation to check-out, the staff at Wildwood made the process a breeze! Travis, Kay & Vicki are friendly, helpful and determined to make your stay a pleasant one. Upon arrival, a staff member will lead you to your spot, assist where needed, and have your fire pit all set up for your first night. They even stop by daily during your stay to check on you! The campsites are clean, neatly landscaped and nestled amongst beautiful pines and redwoods that still allow you to see the stars at night. There’s even a trash can at each site that’s emptied twice daily! So many extra added touches. In fact, many of the benches and picnic tables you see around camp were made by Travis himself, from wood sourced from the property! There are many hiking trails on site and while we didn’t explore them all, we did discover the pond just a few yards from camp. The camp is quiet at night and people are friendly.
It’s plain to see, you can disregard the old reviews as the current owners and staff at Wildwood take pride in their property and are actively making changes to make it a much sought after destination.
We will definitely be back!
