Just wow! If i could give more stars, I definitely would not hesitate. Food was beyond delicious! Small menu but generous amounts of food for a very affordable price. The owners were kind and welcoming.

As an Assyrian, I grew up surrounded by these flavors, and I can confidently say this place is 100% authentic and absolutely delicious. It’s hands down the best Middle Eastern food you’ll find in the area—Roseville, Rocklin, Grass Valley, Sacramento, you name it.

The Beef Kabob Shawarma is incredibly tender and melts in your mouth, with a wrap that’s bursting with flavor. The Lamb Kabob is perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, paired with yellow rice that’s rich and aromatic. The yogurt, garlic, and cucumber salad tastes just like what I grew up with—it’s so good, you could eat an entire bowl on its own.

For dessert, the cheesecake is unlike anything you’ve ever had. It’s sweet, dense, and packed with a creamy, milky flavor complemented by a soft crumble—absolutely divine.

And then there’s the baklava. Let me tell you, it’s a masterpiece. They serve Walnut, Pecan, and Pistachio baklava, each layered with perfection. The pistachio version, with extra pistachio drizzle on top and a sweet syrup glaze, is out of this world. The flavors are so rich and balanced that you could easily eat the entire tray—it’s truly the best baklava I’ve ever had.

First Bite in Marysville is a gem! The food is delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The staff are warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home.
My favorites are Lamb shawarma and kebab plate, and of course the amazing cheesecake and tea 💕
I can’t get enough of this place! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for great halal food and friendly service.

Khalid is a kind person. His cheesecake is the best!! He prides himself on being a great, cook, father, and community member. He helps local youth through the One Stop training programs. You have to try this place! Eat outside in his self maintained garden area or inside where you can have good conversation. His pastrami burger is amazing! Kabobs are great also! I'm headed back to try another dish soon!

First Bite: Great Food, Great Vibes

Stopped by First Bite, and it was such a good call. We had the rice and lamb ribs, and let me tell you they were amazing. The lamb was tender, juicy, and full of flavor, and the rice was just spot on.

The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. The vibe of the place is super chill, perfect for a casual meal or catching up with friends.

If you’re looking for a spot with great halal food and good energy, First Bite is where it’s at. Can’t wait to go back!

Incredible restaurants, very delicious food, Very clean and the service is amazing. The owner is a very nice guy, very hospitable. They're friendly. I've never had such a delicious shawarma supreme experience ever! No exaggerating. Get the super chicken shawrma that has most ingredients like a burrito

This place is delicious and is run by a very friendly family. We just went there for the first time today. I had the lamb kebab plate and my wife had the chicken Shawarma. Both were excellent and we will definitely be back!

I walked in, and the owner looks at me and says "New faces make me feel invigorated!". I felt welcomed as soon as I walked through the door! The food was great, and not having much experience with Mediterranean food was not a problem. The owner answered all the questions that I had. I left full, and happy.
